Congratulations I bet he is really chuffed. Back when I was younger we did fundraising for charity and it was great when companies replied. I'm really impressed that he is doing this largely himself to his design, will there be any modding going on, because that would be really impressive. In addition to congratulating your lad, it seems right to congratulate you both on raising such a thoughtful child. Good luck with the build!
Thanks, He is really happy with the progress. Actually he is bouncing happy I thinks is the best way to describe it! Indeed he will plan, design and do as much of work as possible. Their will be some mods for sure. I will get his log up of his personal rig so you can see what he is capable of Very heart-warming comment at the end their mate
OK then time to leave you a few images,Hopefully these keep you busy for a short time. If you do recognize them please don't spoil it for the rest * Facebook users may have already seen the revealed version of this image And this one too. Not revealed . ..yet Also we should have some new delivery's due this week or early next. To clarify any questions regarding the donation Link and why it is not present (YET). The sole reason I have to yet to post is simple. While I'm sure their will be many that would donate regardless of the specification of the Rig, I think it only fair for us to share all the sponsors and what they have offered first. That way everyone knows exactly what they have a chance to win. We hope to have a complete list of parts soon. These things do take time . We are extremely grateful for so many are making time for us. These companies/individuals have very demanding work loads. Its amazing what they are doing to aid this project.
Great cause, but be carefull man... A 12 year old addicted to modding can result in a lot of problems!

Sorry mate maybe the OP is not clear, I will edit the post for clarity. The build is to given away to one donator. The t&c's are still being finalised though. Any one that donates to connors donation page will be in with a chance to win. It will be drawn randomly via 3rd party.

I think that initiatives like these are important, really creative ways of raising awareness of an issue and I am all for Bit-Tech supporting it. As such I feel like a bit of a heel pointing out Project Log rule no. 2: a project log must contain pictures of work in progress. So I'm moving this to Modding for now but as soon as you post some pics of work in progress please let me know and I'll move the thread right back to Modding.
