It arrived! Oh my is this an eye opening experience or what.
Very odd switching from my MS keyboard because I'm used to very short throw keys however, this is terribly satisfying to use. Additionally the switch from full to TKL is a little weird too, but again, oddly satisfying.

Shame about the pad printed keys so I'll be looking to replace these at some point with something more tasty. Blacks aren't anywhere near as hard to type on as I first expected but they are heavier for sure. I do now, want to play with browns too, this is going to get expensive fast I feel, though the missus has decided having seen mine that she wants a mech so I think I have an excuse
Additionally the plastic used for the WASD cluster seems to be different to the rest of the board, and I think the stabiliser is making the space bar quite a bit stiffer than the other keys, so again, I may look to replace this but I'll have a look in a bit to see if it is the cause.

So very glad I joined this new world of mechanicals, I really wont look back.

Actually they are nice quality but I personally don't like the font. Nowhere near as bad as the BW though, that font was headache-inducing

Yeah the font is pretty horrid and the pad print leaves a lot to be desired.
I'll be spooging cash all over the show soon enough on sexy replacements I'm sure

Luckily I only really see the keys when I first sit down then I don't look at them again in a session really

Alright, I know what I want, and that would be wooden keycaps and casing. Kunshiman are the only place I can find that does them, but their site is basically unuseable.

 

They sure will, trouble is that they are very tight and I might have to dremel them to get them on the board!
