Hi guys, after The PC-Reforged in 2011, its about time I introduced you to a new project.
This one is depicting a Rebel Fortress, Armoured Vehicle and totally self sufficient PC all in one.
Self sufficient because it needs only one single power cord, all the imaginable hardware will be be hosted in the case, not just the PC. Monitor, Subwoofer, XY controlled camera and laser gun, Keyboard. Mouse CB-Radio, Network Switch, Ignition Key, and much much more.
    Here is the deal.
Stardate 2030 AD, The world has been torn by yet another two world wars. Humanity is slaved by warlords and Corrupt systems which are slowly but surely extiguishing any hope of better times.
One man, initially trained to keep these systems up and running turns against all he once believed in and uses all his skills and training now to help the needy, the poor and those who cannot help themselves. He builds himself a lone Fortress, a hideout, a stronghold in which he lives in self sufficiency and plans his actions accordingly while arming himself to the teeth.
He soon realizes that the media, which is also part of the system has declared him an outlaw, an illegal a criminal. He is hunted by those he once hunted with, from the system he once supported. He knows too much and must be annihilated before he can use his knowledge and abilites to harm those who harm others. and bla bla bla etc etc etc.. Good story eh.....
He becomes the RENEGADE, the Public enemy and thats what I want to show in this case.
Why the year 2030 AD, well simply because when set in the future, i can really ravel through my imagination for this one. The Renegade will have futuristic elements as well as nostalgics too. Just like we do in the modern day, where we like mixing the new and modern with older styles.

    here are the first pictures
it all started out with the www.we-mod-it.com casemod contest where you can also see the whole worklog.
MS-TECH sent me the case after i qualified. Unfortunatley we wont see much of the case after I am finished with it and it will be 6 or 7 times as big as on delivery.

by the way, forget all these horrible screws, we wont see them afterwards. this is still all just the inner case, on which i will be building the renegade

    starting with the front blends
    [IMG]

the hinges allow me to open it more than 170 deg. they will by semi gidden later on
    [IMG]
whwer i took the picture from is roughly the angle that it would stand when i work on it later on
    [IMG]
cut the bacl pane to slant and give it more contours
    [IMG]

I heard you love case modding,
so we put case mod inside of case mod inside of case mod
so you can make case mod inside case mod while you modding. ;)

    more of the RENEGADE

hi guys, thanks for the positive response and here is some of the work done so far.
this baby is gonna weigh a tome hwen finished but seeing as its theme is self sufficiency in the RENEGADE`s fortress, its ok, everything will be in it that he or should i just say the pc could possibly need, less words more pictures now.
once the main structure is finished then i will start what i call the real modding, i need ths wooden base to work on for all the 1000 ideas i have for this one. for all those interested, please check out my other mods like PC-REFORGED and WICKED WIDOW and others at
    www.computer-designer.com
    will send more pictures tomorrow
