Another person who just discards their SSD inside the case! Honestly! You people need to be shown mounting solutions!

mine is sandwiched between the card reader and the top of the bay. It is a very snug fit

At least yours is held in somehow. It's not likely to rattle about and possibly come free. My complaint is the people who just kind of hook the cables up then chuck it into the case.

It's screwed to the bottom of the case mate.
I'd never just dump it in there.

Then the camera angle makes it look like it's either resting at a bad angle, or the lens has distorted the image.

Apologies for assuming you'd just thrown it in there, though. I see to much of that at the moment.

Just a quick, and very poor photo. :)
I'd never treat such a great piece of hardware like that, infact, I wouldn't treat anything I've spent money on like that.

Too much cross thread weirdness going on now... freaking me out LOL

I agree though... and if I could find a way that wouldn't look stupid, I would :)

Half of that SATA data cable looks like it may be coming a little loose. :)

Sadly, that's because Silverstone can't properly position SSD mounts.

It's clipped in. What's more concerning is that power cable. There's about 3mm of room between it and the case, so it's pushing upwards against the SSD itself slightly. Not good, but I dare not touch it just in case.

Silverstone designed the SSD mount to be the wrong way up. There's a reason that no cabled connection could be made to the SSD when Bit-tech tested the case. That's why.

At this rate we'll need a "Show us your SSD Mounting" thread.

Dear everyone who can't find a place to mount an SSD:

    By velcro.

    Yours truly, KidMod.
