Indeed and using only aluminium in a setup is oke but use it with copper or nickel you get some problems.

Update 16.

First work today was sanding the oak top and give it another layer of bootslak.



Then it was time to continue with the reservoirs.The next pieces im gonna make from oak again.



First i made 18 little disks to use as spacers.





18 stainless steel plates with 3 holes in them.







Then i made 2 stainless steel axes with M8 thread.





Welding the axes on 2 plates and sand them.





All parts are done so time to mount them together.





This is how the reservoirs look.











The reservoirs are not finisht yet.I have to paint the spacers with bootslak and make some feet for the reservoirs.

Edit: The quality of your welds aren't to bad either, actually they look flawless.

Personally I'd tack the plates in place at the bottom, and remove the wooden spacers, but that's just me!

If anything could be improved of the res is smooth & lacquer the wooden discs, would make them look even nicer.

Damn you do some great reservoirs, the metalwork on the desk is stunning and the wooden top is class, will you varnish or wax the spacers to bring out the grain on those reservoirs ? The quality of work on this build is on another level

You got MAD welding skills, dude. PERFECT work w/ metals. I almost couldn't believe when you made the welding finish.
