Fitted case for Sony NEX-5N+16mm pancake, for evening outings so the mrs can just chuck it in her handbag.

Must say, I'm positively delighted with it. I didn't pay the £95 Sony wants for it, though it wasn't exactly cheap (£40), it's worth every penny. The fit, quality and feel is just fantastic.

That looks lovely. I have some weird soft case (also official) for my NEX-5 and pancake. Where did you get it from?

    3x LG E2770V-BF.AEK From Amazon.

    Product discription
LG E2770V-BF.AEK 27 inch Widescreen 1080p LED IPS Monitor (HDMI) - Black
    LG Electronics

Funny thing is, LG states this monitor is a TN panel on their website, but on another it states it's IPS.

If they arrive and are TN panels, they can go straight back. :)

Anyone else have this monitor and can verify what Panel it is?

Will you be sat quite close to them? I can imagine that the pixel pitch at that resolution will be quite big.

I have also never heard of a 1080 27" IPS panel.... It might exist though!

My guess would be TN, as longweight said, I've never seen an IPS panel of that size and res.

5ms response time would indicate that it isn't IPS!

I forgot about TFT Central. So it looks to be TN. :( Straight back they will go...

Thanks for the help guys! :)

I will +Rep you all when I get home. (Too much of a pain doing it on my phone!).

Depends what response time they go by. G2G is 14ms which would indicate IPS...:wallbash:

Mm, if you want IPS at that size, you're going to have to put down the monies for something like a trio of DELLs, unless you fancy trying some of the Korean panels (which I myself am tempted to do)

Korean panels :D. The only one not using IPS panels from LG (used by pretty much everyone - including Apple, Dell or HP) for 27" 2560x1440 is Samsung with their PLS panel.

So you can choose between Korean Samsung and Korean LG as your 27" 2560x1440 display supplier :D.

Samsung's PLS panel is actually pretty good. The build quality of that monitor is fantastic too!
