Good news everybody! Swapped my primary GPU to be the secondary, ran fine on my primary monitor, but if I enabled SLI/ Surround it'd crash with artifacting on my third monitor (same GPU as failed before). I swapped in my third card and no issues SLI or non-SLI. SLI Heaven Screenshots at 5760x1200: Cards boost to 1163MHz then dial back to 1137/1150 as temps level out with stock settings.
Sweet! I think on the next round of Nvidia cards, I will sit back and wait, as I'm not going to pay OTT prices for a high end card, when 6 weeks later they bring out its sibbling with near identical performance at a great price.
I would have bought a 670, but I felt that a second hand 580 for £150 less was the better option for me at 1080p. I'd have considered saving a bit more for the 670 if it had been in the £250 price range though.
Yeah, I sat there with those 2GB 680s thinking I've spent more than I need to here. The only way I see myself getting the next round early is if they come out during step up time, which is unlikely unless AMD try countering the 6xx series..

That's pretty awesome, congrats! Final settings after much tweaking in Precision X: Voltage and Power Target on Max (1.175V,122%) GPU Clock Offset: +54MHz (Base 1021MHz, Boost 1100MHz, Total w/ Kepler Boost 1215MHz) Memory Clock Offset: +750MHz (1877MHz, 3758MHz Precision X On Screen, 7516MHz Effective) Even with an aggressive fan profile though, I still hit 70degC even at stock speeds (Total 1163MHz). I was worried that might happen, looks like I'm going to have to buy the Accellero Xtreme III at some point, or water cool. Since I'm going to be throttled no matter what I do, I might as well go for the highest stable clock, which is what I listed above, hopefully with a better cooler I can pick my GPU clock up... someday. I emailed EVGA about returning the failed card I got... no response yet, I hope I hear back from them soon. Any thoughts about if I should RMA through Newegg or wait for EVGA? Edit: Just noticed the LogMeIn Mirror driver in Heaven... I wonder how that affects things?
Stock Settings on 1080p: Overclocked on 1080p: Just a hair over true_gamer's stock 680 4GBs... Non-SLI readings when I get my hands on a 3rd card. I'd be interested to see how these compare to someone with an Ivy Bridge board and PCIe 3.0.
