Everything is looking good Angel, well except for the mishap. Paint tomorrow, sand and polish Friday, pics on Saturday and a beer on Sunday.

Thanks! I'm happy that you think I supply that! :)

I used cellulose thinner... Alcohol didn't do the trick, so I decided to go all in! :)

Thanks man! :) I truly hope I make it in time, but right now I'm not worried. You guys might crusify me for my decission, but we'll see! :)

Thanks man! :) I'm glad you like them! :)

Well I "fixed" the mishap, and I really fell like it's not worth repainting now. You guys might feel different, but I just don't have the time to redo it.
I'll stick to non-alcoholic beer, and since Denmark is playing Germany in the European championship sunday, I'll get my quote of that! :)

I have no idea... Temporary blindness? :p

    Small update:

Used some 1200 grit wet sand paper to see if I could rescue the paint. Then some cutting compound.

I have to say that it's good enough. I'd love to go for great, but with the time left this is fine.:

    Got the res mounted finally:

That's it for now. I'm hoping the tubing shows up friday as promised. If not I'll make do with what I got for now for the photoshoot.

    C ya soon guys! :thumb:

I just came back from the workshop, it's now 9:30 pm. We spent the last 3 hours playing with the software for the drive mechanism, and everything works.

Except for the damn thing that the motor is just not powerfull enough. So I have realized that this idea is not going to work in this configuration.

This means that I will be done with the pc saturday, but not the drive mechanism.
We're going to go with a servo solution instead. That also eliminates the switches and give a cleaner look. it just sucks though... :(

But on the upside, I did some work on the case as well, and figured out how the tubing is going to be:

That's the story right now. I'll be back with some pictures of the build saturday. C ya guys then.

Nice work on fixing the paint hiccup. :dremel:

Looking excellent mate, shame about the motor not being strong enough but like you said it works so can put a stronger one in at a later time. :)

Great work as always. It's a shame that the rez is hid by the radiator looking great, hope it is finished in time for the competition.

    Me neither! :)

Thanks man! I got damn lucky on that paint! :)

I actually have a small motor that I bought for another project some years ago, and that will pull the head off a horse without any problems!

Only problem with that is that it requires 12v, 5v won't run it.
So I have my boys on the job of seeing if it's possible! :)
If not, we'll probably go with a servo. :)

Thanks man! :) I think I'll be ready! I had some damn good progress today! Pictures will follow later! :)

Quick update. I'm completely beat but in good spirit! :)

I think 3-4 hours of work tomorrow morning should do the trick! :)

Just a couple of pics for now!

Who was the bright mind that decided to mount the pumps right there? With no access to the fittings... sheesh!
