What level is it at graphically? As far as I'm concerned... Race 07 looks pretty good to me especially with 3d glasses maxed out. So even if it was Race 07 graphics that be ok for me.

It's better imho, but you need a pretty monster PC to run it maxed at the moment.

If you're looking for a more one-off type payment, but still high realism, Project Cars is also worth a look. I'm a member, as are a few others here.

    i5k 4.9ghz, GTX 680 overclocked?

Visually I like Pcars but I have issues running a race sim without 3d glasses. Pcars will never ever be upgraded for 3d vision compatibility and since I'm used to the 3d glasses with Race 07, F1 2011 and some others, I can't make the effort to return to flat-o-vision.

I had issues running an i5. The latest nVidia drivers are supposed to give good results though.

pCARS is not a sim, yet. Looks pretty, but not a sim.

Irs perfect for those like me.... Who think they want a sim because they dont like arcade racers, but when they actually play a sim its that little bit too much like hard work lol.

Pcars sits nicely in the middle for me. Its quite a challenge for me, it sounds amazing, looks amazing, some lovely cars and is still fun. All these points apply to shift 2 also.

I think they sit nicely in the middle. Perfect for me but maybe not you hardcore sim racers :)

It does driver in a smilar way to Shift2 - but better. Just not as polished as it needs to be (but that's to be expected for an alpha game!)

I guess promising is the word :)

Yes I am an iracer,I also wonder who posted that video in the other thread...? ;)

Should try pm'ing Canon for this sort of thing though, iracing Race or most of all rfactor. Iracing is ok though, I've been in a couple of months now and I like it, it's just a little strict. I only qualify for one series and it will take a long time to qualify for any more.

I will have to take another look at rfactor now the FFB issue has been explained. :)

I may try iRacing at some point, I guess I should put some time in on the non sub ones first in order to justify it.

    LG W2363D.

Was £160 when I bought it last year. Games look great in 2d on it but amazing in 3d. I am happy with it. 2 x HDMI ports as well.

Great for watching HD 3d porn.

Wow 1080p and a 680, you must get amazing frame rates in everything.

Well... BF3, full ultra, Damavand Peak 64 players can seriously drop fps during busy moments. The 680 needs overclocking to keep the game smooth. Perhaps the future drivers will improve this.

Ultra with 4 x AA is demanding though so it's great that an overclocked 680 can run it quite well.

Other games I play with 3d glasses so that incurs a drop in fps. I actually need the 680 because of this. The 680 had to replace my previous dual 560ti. It does so very well.

    :(

I was thinking of getting a new monitor which is 2560x1440 and I hoped a 670 OC would be enough!

I wish I could use stick shift on Richard Burns rally.

I don't know really. Not sure whether 3d glasses incurs greater performance hit than higher res. I have a feeling it does so maybe you'll be ok at that res.

I am pretty sure the glasses do incur a greater fps drop.
