If it has to be black or white i would say black, ties in better.. but i am +1 for the clear with gold coolant, its a no brainer!

I like the white with that case.

Can't believe it took me so long to find this thread. Your build looks so much more professional than my LD build :)

    Thanks everybody for the feedback...

I've been doing some tests with tubing and the leds I'm going to use and with that combination the black one is just perfect...

I will post updates soon and will try to take some pics with leds on :)

Thank you again for following this worklog... it encourages me to finish this build soon! :)

    Thank you :)
    Minor update!

I just realized that to black tubing to work white led should be used to give some ambient light to the interior of the case.

I will use this led strips mounted on a white PCB

I will also use this alu profile so I can slide in the PCB (50~60cm) and give a nice touch to the whole setup.

Led, profile and the cover, all together!
I'm waiting for some stuff that I think I will recieve today, I will try to update tonight or tomorrow...

Also I'm going to finish the setup of the led (wiring + sleeving) and connect them to the Aquaero 5

Looks good. Very nice LED strip and the mounting profile is very nice to look at.

So finally leds are installed and wires sleeved.
Let me show you the result

One of the strips was attached to the top of the case.

This is a smaller version of the top bar, without the alu profile, that I installed at the back of where the hard disks are installed.
You can see the light but no the led strip!

    From far...

    Zoomed!

It's a toughy black or white ? I see you have gone with the black tubing using the LED's to pick out the tubing...I notice that the black sleeving on the atx cable contrasts nicely against the white interior, was thinking the white tubing would contrast against the black mobo. I know it's the obvious choice but that's my 2 pennies worth. + for the clear tubing and gold coolant :D

I'm not being very helpful am I ? :hehe:

(Starts chanting) WE WANT GOLD, WE WANT GOLD!

I have a sneaky suspicion that no matter what you choose, it will look awesome! :)

I'd just love to see how clear tubing and Mayhem Gold would look! :)

    Thanks!

NO! But maybe it's worth to try since I have a lot of white tubing...

I'm not a fan of putting dyes into the loop and I was 99.99% sure that I will never use that but... you never know..
    Maybe for version 1.1 :D

As said will give white a try but I think it's going to look too much white and also the gold fittings are not going to look good at all...

The problem I'm having with the black tubing is that the wall of the tubing is not that thick compared to the white and I have to be really careful

    First time I see that!
Looks great but I think you will preffer my "pumping station", stay tuned :D

I will try both... not sure about the contrast against golden fittings though!

Finally, bullets are GONE for ever (hopefully!)
I'm really happy with my new motherboard block :)

I'm very happy with the overall quality BUT I think the packaging was not good enough, you can see some damage on the mosfet block.... but it could be worse!

Can't wait to put some nice fittings and start planing the loop :D

    More pics soon!
