It's getting close, especially if your a founder, maybe 5 weeks away at best to strap into a 100ton hulk of metal and kill stuff. It's going to be World of Tanks but better! Anyone else looking forward to this?!
I am now that you've reminded me it's out soon... oh look, my birthday at the end of the month. Fantastic.
Yeah, I'm not completely excited, but I'm looking forward to it. Just not sure if I should get one of the founder's packs yet. I hate putting money down for a game that turns out to be a flop. Anyone currently Beta testing it?
Anyone in Beta can't tell you if they are in it or they break NDA. I got the Founders package, this game is looking great so far, really looking forward to it. Get signed up on the forum for a chance at Beta, if you get a Founders you get a bit more chance of getting in early, but August 7th at the latest with one of the Founders deal.
That's very true. Whoever posted this up on you tube needs a bit of luck to keep his access I would think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEICUlHFx_Y
I would think so! Maybe they will ban him and auction off the spare beta place to the founders!! It does look good though.
I read about a new mech warrior release ages ago. It wasn't online though, never even heard of this game until today. But after watching that video, I'll be playing it, loved mech warrior 2 growing up. Awesome sauce.
Been in the Beta a little while now, (I'm now allowed to disclose that much). Even in this fairly early state I'm not disappointed, and a lot more to come yet.
I am interested in it. I am probably going to have to decide between this and Planetside 2 though. I don't think I would have the time, energy, and money to play both.
Well you should be able to play Mechwarrior for free - at least free enough to give it a very good trial before deciding which game you need/want to drop actual cash on or your time. I just upgraded to Legendary package the other day myself so I know I'm very committed already personally to this game. I done that based on my beta experience so far.
I'd love to get into this, but I haven't the first clue on the BattleTech universe. I need a crash course or something.
So, is this 'free to play' but 'pay to win' or will I be rewarded with upgrades and new mechs just by playing the game?
