Joined! I'm Delaque ESN on steam btw Glad to see a few others have voted for DE:HR with me - doesn't look like that'll be this months tho...
Sounds good to get involved in. Not got round to playing (or buying) Deus Ex yet, and think it would be good to do like this. My steam ID is Combinho, so feel free to add me.
Joined the group. I hope Sim City 4 will not win though - the game does not run on any resolution beyond 1920x1080.
No idea how I've missed this so far but it seems like an awesome idea, I need some motivation to go beyond my usual 2 or 3 games... As a side note, unless its a Source mod, there isn't necessarily much of a saving to be had by doing mods as opposed to original games, you have to have the game to mod in the first place.
Amen. Despite my love for Sim City, it simply doesn't run well on a modern system - I wish games sold on Steam got the GoG.com treatment and were actually optimised for current systems, rather than just shoved on the store.
Runs pretty well for me actually. And I have the disc boxed set. I didn't even have to modify anything. Turns out the IPC performance of a 2500K @ 4.4Ghz is pretty damn effective at running SC4..
It's not been decided yet. I'll post a thread toward the end of this month to see if people want to do another. The current one hasn't really garnered much interest but that might be down to the choice of game. We might have more luck with a multiplayer/more modern game but I'll have to see if there's any interest for another one first.
This is true, but its probably a slow burner kinda of enterprise, and if we do it month on month I'm sure we'll get a good crowd.
sorry, i didn't participate this month because i don't really like Sims games. i did replay World in Conflict single player again, just finished last night, as epic.
That was my issue not a fan of the sim city games. Dabbled in city XL which i have but it wasn't the same and kind of gave up. Im hoping for a better choice of game! well better in my opinion... If its a multiplayer then we could actually play it together..? Need to think about the next game choices!
