I think so - if you can stick at it, it is quirky but good. Can be repetitive in places - it's a bit like Stalker underground.
I challenge you to find a better way to spend £3.75. It'd almost certainly have to involve hard drugs in a third world country.
Oh dear, I appear to have caved in to a steam sale spending spree... That lot and fallout new vegas will hopefully last a while By the way, batman is an amazing game and would definitely recommend if it is still on sale.
Wasted a whopping 20 EUR today... I got Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition this morning and here in the evening I caved and bought the FEAR pack (although I already had FEAR 1 and didn't get an extra copy). Both purchases come in at 9.99 EUR each so technically I haven't spent 20 EUR, but still...
Fable 3 worth £7.50? Enjoyed Fable 2 on Xbox. 3 looks pretty much the same, so am I going to be bored from the start? *edit* Infact, don't answer that, the less I buy the better, . I need to stop spending money, especially if I'm going to get ARMA2:CO. Waiting to see if it comes down any more.
Been quite good so far. Only bought Alan Wake and Mirrors Edge. Already have a boxed M.Edge but was having trouble reinstalling. Will a steam version work better? worth a go for 3 quid.
Looking at EU3 for £2.49 in the flash sale and thinking if i had bought it at that price it's entertainment value would have worked out at less than 1p per hour.
I'm hoping to get batman, its up for vote just now - fingers crossed everyone else votes for it as well !
It's more of the same from Fable 2: Quest, hunt for Silver (and Gold as well now) keys, Buy property, make fortune. If you more into your good vs evil decisions making an marked impact in the game (Like I do) then I would recommend Fable 3, but gameplay-wise it is just more of the same. On to ARMA2:CO Is it really worth it? I heard about the Day Z mod with the massive open spaces and "realism", but is it really THAT impressive? I'm finding it hard to sift through all the hype over this game - so just want a 'blunt' answer if possible. /2cents
It's certainly an 'impressive' game, even without DayZ. It's quite tricky to pick up at first, or at least it is for me against AI, I get killed every time.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, regular or deluxe version? Is the deluxe version worth 50% extra (7.49 EUR vs 4.99 EUR)?
So, there's a learning curve, but nothing extreme. so thats' another game going on my wishlist - which brings the total to 14 games. Why is it I end up going on like a starved person doing grocery shopping when It comes to steam sales! Good thing I've quit smoking for good! EDIT: Does the deluxe version come with all the DLCs? in that case it depends on if you play AC just for the gameplay, or the story as well. Get the DLCs more for the side stories rather than just the gameplay.
My wallet has not taken too much of a battering yet, having only picked up 3 titles so far. Trine 2, Oil Rush and Splice. Totalling about £18. I have seen plenty of cheap deals for other titles but I don't want to buy them just because they are cheap, I have to actually want to play them. Anyone know how long this steam sale is likely to go on for?
