I much preferred asylum to city. Thought there were too many gadgets and gizmos! The first kept in nice and simple in my opinion.

The silly boss fights made me not enjoy Asylum so much - although I did enjoy that one too. I like the free roam and the fact there are more stealth opportunities in City. Also getting all the Riddler puzzles was fun. Watching Catwoman's arse was a bonus too!

The voice acting in both games is second to none - I can't think of a single game ever that was better.

Brilliant! Classics all.. (apart from 2 imo)

On-topic: Is Batman still on sale? Loved Asylum, have been waiting for City to go cheap..

Argghghg, more games I want - fancy Skyrim but too pricy - reckon Dragon Age: Origins worth at £4ish - reviews seem promising.

You nearly cost me £4, but with the other games I have bought this sale so far I have plenty to keep me going till GW2 (which I suppose is of similar ilk!). Give it a miss this time, im sure it will be back in another sale. :thumb:

It's still on sale but not as cheap as it was, it's now 33% off and it was 66% off before.

Dragon Age: Origins is fantastic, really surprised me as I thought I'd find it boring because of the W.O.W combat.

Played it on 360 with the dumbed down graphics so would be even better on PC!

So far I have bought -

The Witcher 2 (On the very early morning / late night flash sale ;))
    Skyrim (Daily Deal)
Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai (Daily Deal)
    Dear Esther (Daily Deal)

Just waiting for RO2 to go flash / daily. If it doesn't I will get it anyway, it's only £8.99 awesome game.

I'm kindof regretting not picking up Frozen Synapse when it was on daily / flash (can't remember which) looks interesting having since watched some 'let's plays' on the 'tube.

Also wish Sins: Rebellion would be cheaper than 25%

EDIT: BUY EMPIRE: TOTAL WAR FOR £2.49 YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Is it worth getting games ive already got ie Rome/Medevial on steam or not.

Ive also got disc copies of Dragon Age and Borderlands but not played, worth getting again- only a limited budget- currently looking at getting both DeadSpace and maybe sins rebelion.

Don't buy games you've already got dude. That's just spending money for the sake of spending money

I bought a few titles so far:

    Trine Franchise x2 copies
    Batman Arkham City x2 copies
    Fallout 3 Complete Pack
    Dragon Age Complete Pack
    Witcher Pack
    Sim City 4
    Crysis Pack
    Mirrors Edge
    Frozen Synapse

I fell into the "collect a game, dont play it" trap.

    I've currently snagged the following

    Mr. Robot
    Thief Collection
    Bioshock Franchise pack
    Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

Should keep me sated for a while, especially with the EVE mod for New Vegas.

Bah, GSB is a fiver. I spent £15 last year for it with some other service and I've never really played it. Tenner wasted.

Just snapped up Wings Of Prey for £2.49 (still available in the indie bundle) really great fun, great graphics too.

I'm sure you can guess the genre even if you've never heard of it :D

I think I've only picked up one of the indie packs so far this time (the one that had Runespell) - already got most of the other games I'm interested in from previous sales.

Runespell: Overture was pretty good, very enjoyable (poker based) card combat game. The only downside was it seemed to end just as it got going (and has a bug which causes a CTD on the main map if you've got Raptr running).

Opinions on FEAR 3 and Driver San-Fran' ? I loved the first FEAR but lost interest when they switched developer plus the reviews seem rather mixed. I tried the demo of Driver SF around xmas on the xbox but the controls seemed a bit dodgy. So if anyone has any input on those two, it'd be mucho appreciated !

The other half gave me Driver San Fran for Christmas and I really enjoyed it but even now, months after its release, its still fairly buggy. For instance, the speedometer on my Corvette ZR-1 matches the game speedo up to about 120MPH before the car's speedo starts accelerating wildly before it ends up pegged in the steering wheel shroud when the car eventually reaches its top speed. I played it on my PC with my wired XBox 360 controller and it was fine, I think my PC handled it at maximum settings at 1920 x 1080 resolution. The game doesn't support steering wheels however. If there's anything else you'd like to know then let me know :)

Edit: Forgot to add, even if you buy it through Steam, you'll probably have to deal with Ubisoft's UPlay DRM/game manager. On the GFWL to Steam scale of annoyance, I'd put it just behind Origin. It's annoying but you only have to deal with it when booting the game up.
