Thanks a lot guys! I've been working on this just for too long, I don't see it anymore Did you guys know if you set the dual LED Enermax fans on RED with 5-7V the blue comes through sometimes... It's lovely (You can see it in the vid if you look closely) I still do have plans for the Ssd's, however wasn't really sure about what to do yet. You guys do help me with this. My first idea's were actually to replace the sticker with something black. Maybe shiny black. Thought polished stainless steel or aluminum would be just too shiny so close to the LEDS. Off course a plate with the logo or something cut out would look good too. It got picked up today for the event, probably getting pictures this weekend ... man I'm so proud! This is how was packed yesterday. (Don't mind the LED speed, was set on fast to show the difference)
lol u posted straight after me! Didnt even know u were one, by the way, how did you change the text underneath your profile name to say www.^.nl ? Thanks - Dan
2 days ago Asus BNL called me ... They were very happy with it! Such a shame I couldn't be there cause of my job :/ And a video on the Asus Facebook where you can see L4n for 3 seconds @ 2:00 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=368991666504515 Now waiting to get it back and resume Thanks a lot Asus!
My god it looks sexy... Good job Mate! personally, not gonna lie, I find your change in led color to be perfect with the whole setup in general O.O
That is one SEXAY PC! I love the layout inside, and the large LCD on the front, great idea for that event Peter
Thanks guys!! Thanks Bill! Actually never knew until 2 weeks ago it would be on an event, it's like they adjusted their lighting on my leds
Received L4n last week in a perfect state from Asus Been leak testing 2 days to see if it's finally leakfree..... Finally! With just 2 x D5 at full speed and 1m tube it became pretty hot after a few hours of testing. So used an AIO solution from Aquacomputer (Thanks again for this awesome MOTY prize Specialtech.co.uk ! ) After hours of testing and greasy fingers I gave it a last polishing. I didn't know what photos to erase, so here they are all of them. This 'small project-in-a-project' has been quite a learning process for me of cooperation, testing, measuring and even more measuring and testing. I would like to thank the following persons for cooperating on the MARS II block. Daniel aka Mr3D Ivo aka Quepee Rogier van Asus Benelux Gregor van EKWB And everyone who I forgot This week some small changes on the SSD's and then I will be testing the loop and hardware of L4n. After that, mount the MARSII and test it all over again
How on earth do you keep getting the drool marks off that block dude! if it was sitting in front of me it would be permanently wet lol
Looks like an awesome techno wonderland through the window all looks crazy but very nice crazy & right, the hard tubes & fittings really bounce light all over the place beautifully, really is 1 very tidy ass rog rig. And the GPU when did the extra republic of gamers get added to it, not seen that on it before, looks perfect.
This comment from the one who has me drooling on everything he creates ..... Thanks a lot Editor22 And a comment from Mr. R. ROG himself Really appreciate it Richard!! It's the Aquacomputer AMS system. People into watercooling will probably love it!For me it's a nice solution for quick setups. All you need is 2 tubes And off course a comment from the most loyal commenter Thanks a lot Waynio!!! The rog tekst got added right before the event, didn't have time to show it to you guys. Will probably work on that ssd solution tomorrow
ohmygodohmygodohmygooood!!! can't wait to see the mars all plummed in. Those rads from aquacomputer sure are pretty, especially the copper one, but unfortunately a little out of my price range lol
Cant believe I missed this update.. it looks amazing bud!! the whole machine does!! and I have to agree with Waynio about the republic of gamers text that was added... just perfect!!! A true triumph that block is!! 1 question though, are you planning on changing the plate to a 2 slot plate or leave it as 3?
This build is absolutely amazing! Just spent almost one hour reading through this thread, and it was absolutely worth it!
I have just been looking back through this build. Defiantly my favorite of the year. Everything about it is just what I like seeing in a build and that block is just pure porn...Lovely
