Only going to have a few hours, but that'll be time enough to make some progress:dremel:

I was never happy with the door on the front, so after a little chat with the owner and chief designer ( Dylan ) he came up with an idea and if I say so myself, I absolutely love it .

Right the , so the sun came out and I have managed to get a few hours done on the build.
So with out further ado here's what I've been up to..

First up. I was never totally happy with the front door. So Dylan came up with a little idea the set me of in another direction with it..

This was the way it was before...

And after an hour of playing with the jig saw, Dylans idea came to life...

After that I smoothed out the top panel and the one at the front, the main reason being that apart from looking better, there will no longer be room for the USB's and other bits that live there....

Dylan done some of the work as well..It's his build after all

He even done some of the spraying. I was expecting runs and patches but he took to it like a duck to water, all came out really well.

And here's it all rough fitted back together...Don't know about you guys, but I quite like it...

My only concern so far is dust; You might have to get inventive with hiding dust filters on those intakes, or otherwise keep the hoover handy to clean it out every now and again.

Other than that; It's turning out to be a pretty damn good project! Always good to get started at a young age, so the skills are already in place when they want to go off and start modding for themselves!

To get the look right I'll have to live with the dust, won't be the first time. The rig thats going in here is running on air, Dylan put a lot of that together himself, under my watchful eye. He's just got hard core geek in his DNA lol...

When he's not playing football, thats his other passion.

Looking very nice you're doing a grand job there, Dylan :thumb: So what colour scheme are you going to have? ;) Not too much bling I hope, unlike your father :hehe:

I have already had to kind of shift him away from flames, he's got them already on Heat Blast..

This is going to be some thing altogether more subtle.

The chassis is getting finished up and painted as we speak..

OMG another update, thats 2 in as many days...wooohooo

Being so keen to get stuck in to the chassis I totally forgot to take any pics at the beginning, but if you go back to the first page of this build you'll get an idea of what it was like.

And a few of it with the new front panel, grill and nose cone.

nice work! and I'm glad to see Dylan being a part of it. I think that i will start a mod soon with my daughter's help - to help her get interested in computers and modding...
Great work so far - keep it up!
