Thanks for the kind words and the brofist, but all seems to be well again! :)

Well, it shall suck no more. (don't)

Since I stopped drinking, I hardly havn't partied at all! :)

The misses came back, we had a good talk and all is well! :) I would have been scared as hell with a serious relationship when I was 24, so it seems she paniced a bit! :)

    FINALLY!

We got the drive mechanism working.

We decided to go with a servo instead of the motor, which of course renders a lot of my work useless, but I keep some of it in there just for the looks!

Not much to say, I'm back again. :) It'll be a couple of weeks before I get going on the case as work is busy as hell, and I still have a week of vacation to kill off! :)

    But no more talking!

I present to you; The working motion sensor eject thingy!

Btw. I got a 5th place in the XtremeHardware Mod 'N Roll casemod competition... Meh.... :)

Yeah, I'm quite happy with it myself! :) Thanks man! :thumb:

You have NO idea how hard it is to live up to your expectations! :p

Thanks a lot man, I'm good with "crazy"

    Thanks man! :)

Well, that was the plan! I'm just thrilled that it worked out exactly how I hoped! :)

    Now... Is this the moment? The one defining moment in my life? It must be;
I have never seen any Starwars movie, so the Jedi mind trick is not up my alley!

    Thanks man! :)

(please don't disown me! )

Well... Actually we are working on making a board with a usb input, and a graphical interface.
It would make it easy to control stuff like:

The brightness of LED's, and also sequential flashing of LED's
    Fan speed
    Controlling servo's or DC motors
    Input from touch sensors
    Input from motion sensors
    Input from "normal" buttons.

More ideas are welcome! I think there might be a market for it out there amongst modders!

Seriously sweet mechanism, dude. If the name is still up for grabs, how about:
    "Cat-activated shiny disc launcher."

That is an awesome case. And the drive system is awesome also. But I just thought of a way to make it even cooler... use an optical sensor to see when a disk is fully inserted into the drive. So you could insert a disk, and it would close automatically!!

That "thingy" came together very nice :) As said before stunning build and you never cease to amaze. Good to hear that your RL sorted itself too.

And for the Star Wars I can only say go and grab a copy for 4-6 and ignore 1-3 ;)
