Too much empty space left behind, plus an empty rear peg hanger bracket and the original exhaust hanging bracket makes them look like an after thought

 

Can the peg hangers not be removed? They could on my triple!

 

The hangers can yes, but not the bracket that's welded to the sub frame they attach to.
With the standard cans that's not to bad looking, and how I run it mostly, but take the cans off and you then have a gaping hole and the can welded brackets, which imho looks bob.

Ah, ok. On the Street the hanger bolts completely flush to the sub-frame, so removing the hangers leaves it looking like there was never ever there in the first place

The low level zorsts look good, but I really can't be harrised to grind the old metal work down to remove the old hangers.



Although I may have a look on fleabay and see how much a rear sub frame is off a crashed one

varadero has tried to throw me off a few times in the last couple of days + my caffine bzzes really making riding a bit heart pounding on new roads

 

I didn't consider the Triumph Speed Triple simply because my mate already has one, and I don't want to be a copy-cat.

Considered the Yamaha XJ6? Nice little naked that looks the part. There's also the Suzuki SV650 and Gladius which are excellent starter bikes, cheap too. The SV is bulletproof since it's been around so long.

My favourite sounding bike was a 998 rs02. Pirro's blade engined crt makes an almighty howl at full chat.

 

I actually think the CRTs sound better than the prototypes!

Speaking of great sounding bikes. I think the gp honda repsol is the knarliest sounding. Was at silverstone last year and it really did sound awesome

 

Went to qualy this year, was bloody windy. Luckily for me my missus works for Honda so anything to do with bikes is free entry, paddock passes and hospitality. Myself im a ducati man having built and raced them. But im a Honda man when it comes to my motocross bikes
