Would not buy a 560 Ti considering 7870 prices and other things happening in a matter of weeks.

yes the 660ti is out august 16th; no doubt dropping the price of the 560.
And presumably you'll want to overclock so a better cooler would be good, the i30 would do the job.

The Sharkoon is very thin, soft steel. There are better cases for similar price. The bottom is drilled for mounting an SSD so if you get one the Xenta bracket isn't needed.
There is a saving if you buy an OEM 3570K from Ebuyer or, better, Scan if you have free shipping set up.
Another reasonable cooler is the Zalman CNPS10X also Scan

    Thanks for the input all.

Okay, which case would you reccomend? Looking for one with cable management.

7870 seems to be going for around £250 which is a bit beyond my budget. Any alternatives? Trying not to spend more than about £170 on graphics card.

560 might be your best bet then. What does a 7850 go for?

    Fine!

A basic 80+ is not hugely efficient but it beats buying a new one :D

After building a rig for a mate last night can I just suggest moving the case up to the Sharkoon T28 (it's only about a fiver more but sadly I couldn't see a white version, don't know if this is massively important to you or not). I've put a rig in the T9's before and the differences in the HDD cage layouts are so much nicer to work with in the T28. Just thought I'd mention it :)

Seems a good build, but i'm interested as to why the RAM wasn't compatible. I have been planning on a similar build and i wonder if Dominator ram will be compatible now.... D:

    Crap, already ordered. Oh, well.

I can't actually remember, a friend just told me. Might be a good idea to start a thread and ask.

Nevermind, I didn't mean that the T9 was particularly bad or anything, don't worry about that :) In fact I'd go so far as to say that with either version I've never been so impressed with a case that costs so little :thumb:
