I think the P67 is a bit dated now. What are you coming from?

cheap z77 board is around £70

you can also get a faster cpu which is linked by mr bundle for the same price

if your going to replace the amd 5830 then buy a cheap 560ti or wait 2 weeks for the 660 ti give or take budget amounts ect.

id recommend the antec 100 case or the 300 if still available both easy to use cases and decent air flow. the case you have selected does not get great reviews on the sites i found it on.

It might be worth waiting until a i5 and motherboard are on a today only sale, as I believe a i5 is a lot faster than a i3. Depends on budget I suppose.

Nothing wrong with the P67 chipset. I bought my rig before the new chipsets came out and whilst Z77 plus Ivybridge have a better memory controller. P67 is still good.

I have an Asus P8P67. Its was the cheapest version they did. But still rock solid.

You can pick up a Z77 Mobo for under £100. And just to also point out latest Bios for P67 Asus boards supports Ivybridge.

You might as well get the Z77 motherboards if for native Ivybridge. And QuickSync. That's always nice.

X58 is a dead end, and probably won't have SATAIII though.

I'd agree with the others. Z77.

Sandybridge (don't even start with Ivy) would whoop Nehlam in terms of IPC any day.

Just get Ivy with a Z77, you'll be relatively satisfied.
