Well we now have 4864 advanced alloys; that's enough for 38,912 reinforced stone blocks (608 stacks), or 17,024 reinforced glass blocks (266 stacks). That sounds fine to me for a while, but Pete was building the interior of the facility, so I'll let him have the final word on how much we'll need.

We currently have 5,179 reinforced stone blocks spare and a paltry 59 reinforced glass blocks.

I might get back into Tekkit. I could make an advanced alloy factory in the same complex as the solar factory - spewing out advanced alloys like there's no tomorrow. Hopefully this time the production chain is simple enough not to cause massive back ups and crash the server.

AA is pretty easy - three refined iron, three bronze and three tin to make two mixed metal ingots. Compress those, and you've got AA. But a production line for reactor chambers and reactors is a different ball game, as I discovered yesterday. Just about managed to keep it in check though! :)

    Ello guys.

For starters we need, roughly, 70,000 Reinforced Stone for the outer walls. Then about the same again for internal walling. Plus 10,000 glass. :)

    Oh jesus.

That'll nuke the map. Next step. Seven block thick red matter cube surrounding my towers, reinforced glass at the top so my solar gens keep working.

RM doesn't work, I did testing. Only Reinforced stuff absorbs the blast :) And I'm only the designer, BLC is helping me build it under the spawn...

And don't worry, they'll be passively stable :)

I was thinking of building a reactor underneath spawn, but not 48 of the buggers. That's crazy.

The cavern that's being dug for the nuclear power station is 64x64x64, and that'll be lined with reinforced stone walls three blocks thick. In addition, each reactor will be in it's own 9x9x9 chamber, also with walls of reinforced stone three blocks thick.

Even if meltdowns do happen, there's not a hope in hell of damaging anything :).

In theory, you could fit up to around 150 individual reactors in there... But obviously space will be needed for cabling and such.

It's fair to say that the railway is temporarily on hold... :)

I sorely hope so. BLC; could you kindly keep a backup of the sever where all of those reactors are disabled, just in case something bad does happen?

Can do. Once they're actually built, that is... At the moment, the quarry hasn't finished yet.

BLC, I need your help as EC caused the quarry to go into a infinite loop that I can't fix as it's under the spawn!!!

I didn't see any issues other than some lava being in the way... I've cleared up what I could, but had to dash as I'm cooking food! :D

    I'll pop back on later.

EDIT: I didn't notice any overflows or issues with the teleport pipes.

    Server access

Hey there was just wondering how to get access to this server, been playing about with tekkit for a while and fancied trying it multilayer? Thanks in advance.
