Thanks a lot fellow desk man! :D
Well I did have plans for the bracket, however I'm keeping it for stability.
That crazy cards weight is around 2Kg now :wallbash:

    Thanks m8!
Really hope you enjoyed it and keep doing that :thumb:

Thanks a lot bulldogjeff, really means a lot to me!
However personally I'm 100% sure I don't stand a chance against this years mods :)

    Haha thanks matiss :thumb:

Well .. promised Corsair to do something with the ssd's.
There also was a discussion here with Waynio and The_Crapman about doing something about the ssd's.

    So here we go :)

    First remove the sticker.

    Start dremeling.

Sanded with P220. I have something with brushed alu....

    But have other plans.

Sawing a piece of tinted acrylic.

    Polishing

Taping the acrylic and glue it with transparent glue. (Becomes transparent when it's dry)

In the meantime further with the casebadge while the glue is drying.
One of the nicest badges I've seen.

    Dr. Dre on it again.

    Became hotter then I expected.

But who the heck makes 2mm thick badges :D

More then an hour of filing and sanding.

    With the result.

    Glue nicely dried.

    One to go :p

    Same ritual.

    And the result.
I'm very happy with it :)

Noticed right now the heatshrink let go cause of all the dis-connecting :/

Sweeeet, that is sooooo much better & thanks to the neon acrylic it also keeps a good element of the stock cases but enhanced by 100x, perfect. :D:clap:

Nice job on that Pete. :dremel:

My first time commenting on any of your work but.... this is definitely an amazing build! The Mars II is a big stand out with that custom block but, I definitely love what you've done with the SSD as well (among basically everything else amazing in this build, of course) :)

On that note - if I was to attempt something similar, you wouldn't mind? :D been looking for a way to feature my SSDs in a desk build for a while now.

Awesome work! (I spent almost 15 minutes thinking something briliant to say but I'm too busy trying to catch my breath at the moment...) :D

Pity SSD drives are so valuable, otherwise I would try this myself! :dremel:

Oh no, you have to stop teasing me now, that SSD is brilliant, one of the best I have seen.. And back to what you said about some of the builds this year, there is some amazing stuff coming out this year, I was thinking the same thing as you. The standards are just so high.

    Still think it's a weird comment :D
    Thanks a lot man! :thumb:

    Thanks Meelobee.
Well just move it and start, I know you can do it :dremel:

I actually have no idea hehe.
    T:cooldude:hanks m8 for inspiring me

    Thanks Bundy!

Think you made a good one with this comment :thumb:

    Thanks man!
Right now the ssd makes me think of the new Dominator platinum series. Love the that style.

I don't use badges either, however I do all keep them and this one was the nicest I ever had :)
All company's should make em like that so we can (ab)use them :dremel:

I tried. I really did. But the new design makes it impossible to mix with many hardware designs and watercooling equipment from other manufacturers, so that breaks the deal for me. Maybe I'll come back to EKWB in the future, who knows? I feel like I'm being spun around - I'm seing circles everywhere! :)

Oh, and don't even get me started on the "SQ" bit... why on EARTH did they remove the possibility/flexibility for installing fittings from one side of the block? Makes absolutely NO sense to me. :nono:

And so you did. AMAZING result. Only... I would have put light INTO the SSD box to light up the SSD boards.
