The Who close it, and rightly so. Despite all your negative comments guys, on the whole I enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy all of them, but the vast majority of them were fantastic.

One was even on the stadium. George Michael is maybe not the best signer on the world, but he is a "proven replacement" at least for such performances as this.

After seeing it with my own eyes the only possible replacement is the singer from Electric Six. He was simply awesome doing Radio Ga Ga.

The Who are sounding surprisingly awesome considering. Bands like this usually lose it. Colour me impressed :)

Well, Take That were good, the dance was fantastic, sad to see the flame go, but what a way to end - The Who!

    Roll on Rio!

All over :( At least The Who managed to rescue some national pride at the end!

Bring on the Brazilians with their tacky costumes and Christmas lights I suppose! :D

    Well that's that then.
Not that impressed with the closing ceremony, it was good but not great in my opinion.

The big question now is who will be sports personality of the year?
It has to be between Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis and Ben Ainslie.

I could chuck many names on that list

Brownlee brothers, Andy Murray, Hoy, Jason Kenny, Pendleton, Laura Trott, Nicola Adams and Kaithy Granger

Thats just names that stick out for me!

Personally i would pick Mo Farah he is the one that had me on the edge of my seat shouting at the tv
