They are Merging Origin friends and Battlelog friends into one list.

Currently have no friends listed on Battlelog. But downloading the patch at 8 mbps!!

 

I have no friends on Origin so I don't care about the merge.. although it is a pain that there's no friends in BattleLog.

Patch is going at 666KB/s

 

From the looks of it when other merges. Origin and Battlelog friends will be one list.

Not that i even bother with Origin to launch BF3. Though it might be an effort to fix Voip using Origin as the source.

Voip has never worked currently from within Battlelog.

 

I gots goosebumps!


Other problems I have notice lately is that when getting locked on in jets and helis there is no warning. Just a boom as the missile hits me. I didn't get a beep or a warning signal. Kinda sux sometimes. And it is not just me, some clan mates have the same problem.

 

Too true mate, man up or play COD should be the response.

 

Armoured kill looks tempting i may have to buy premium just for the map packs.

 

50 Jet Kills ?! NOO! I don't have 1.

Edit: M16A3 goes sideways so much, it's weird. It's like 40 degrees, foregrip is now recommended.

I think I may end up buying Premium purely for the AC-130, .

Anyone know if it's flyable, or if its just on a fixed path round, and you just get to shoot the guns?

Being able to fly the A-10s and Littlebirds would be nice too, I don't play Rush much, and there doesn't seem to be many maps which have the A-10 or littlebird either.

 

AC-130 is on a fixed path- you are able to fire the guns and spawn to parachute onto the battlefield.

 

Like ccxo said, the AC-130 is on a fixed flight path. Your team needs to control a set control point in order for it to be available to you.

Those manning it can use 2 main cannons and 2 AA guns (so up to 4 gunners, or so i understand it). The Gunship also acts as a spawn point for the team.

TBH most of the vehicle related fixed in the patch umm suck.

It sucks that you can't fly the AC130. But you should get Desert Combat for BF1942 and you could there

 

Sounds good to me. I'll probably be playing a bit more battlefield in the run up anyway.

 

On a related note as this it seems that those of us that pre bought the game are being butt-raped quite a bit as it seems that these unlocks are for premium players only.

That the trophies and dog tags are premium only is a good idea but making things like AA rockets, and air burst shells for artillery together with TOW, HE Ammo and Extinguisher for tank destroyers a premium only. I am afraid that it is a matter for those of us without premium to either buy premium or stay as cannon fodder for the premium players. And seeing as premium costs £50, I am not going to get this.

Do give the premium players some nice trinkets, new dog tags, Knife, other camouflages, trophies or the like but never sell power this way you are just pissing on the players that pre ordered the game.

Premium assignments come under the "Premium" category, unsurprisingly. The vehicle enhancements appear under Armored Kill, signifying they are part of the expansion, not Premium.
