Yeah, it was called "Boneyards". I used to play it very heavily, and it is where my nickname comes from.
Boneyards! Wasn't that the online matchmaking service! Ah, the good olds days of 56k modems. GAS GIANTS! I'm looking forward to this, but I'm having trouble imagining how its going to work. Personally for this to work well I think you shouldn't be able to build anywhere on the planet itself, and all structures should be orbital.
We should all bug the hell out of notch. I'm sure he has some money to throw at it so that we can make the 1.8 goal.
Enjoyed supreme commander a lot and this looks very interesting, will donate when back home. Definitely seems to be a good chance of it reaching the next stretch goal if it continues like the last few days.
Wahey! So good! Now, its just a question of whether we can get another $275k in the next 4.5 days! Its a big ask but you never know with Kickstarter.
My hope is that there is a bunch of people who donated via PayPal, not KS, that will push it over the edge.
I'm actually hoping they don't announce it, in case I really really want it and we don't get there....
Well done sir! If it works like it did in Supcom 1, it will be brilliant. That was one of the best features in conjunction with the strategic zoom, that I have ever seen in an RTS.
Dunno, I found that with second screen all I did was set it to a zoomed out map and left it there. Would like it to be taken further so the screen is used constantly.
I broke it up into 4 screens usually. Different areas where I had smaller bases set up and a few key choke points if the map had them.
Cleared the $1.6m mark this morning. I know its still early, but I have a feeling we just might do this!
I want that galactic war! Are the paypal donations given directly through their website being included in this running total at all? I can't seem to find how much has been given through that.
