Peripherals Keyswitch tester set

Hi all,

Key switch selection is a very personal thing and you can't really make your mind up just by reading about the differences online! So I have bought 4 keyswitch keychains to send to people who would like to try before they buy.



I have put SP doubleshot Pi caps on a couple of them and then a doubleshot ESC and a crappy pad printed ESC so that people can see and feel the difference. It is hard to get a sense of how a whole keyboard will feel from one switch but it is better than nothing!

This might not be something that people are interested in but I thought that I would offer it and see who bites.

The switches are blues, browns, reds and blacks.

Rules

1. You pay for postage to the next person, first or second class is fine by me. I will be sending them out in a bubble mailer.

2. Don't steal them.

I am not sure what postage would be to Denmark? Just in a simple envelope. I have a Das Keyboard with blues but I would like to try the browns.

It's always good to get some switch trys going. Alternately if anyone just wants some browns to keep and try as long as you want I have over 300 spare so... just let me know. I only want $.30/ea + postage for them.

I've tried browns and blues - looking forward to trying the linear switches.

 

You can add me to the list. I have a Filco with Browns at the moment but have never been able to try any other cherry switches so would love to be able to.

This isn't a for sale thread it is an offer to send out a sampler of the usual key switches for people to try and then send on to the next person.

 

Wanted to get a set for work as there is a lot of interest, but I guess thats not allowed. OK never mind then.

 

What? You want to buy then or keep them for a few days to try them?

 

I would like to obtain a set to have at work so people can test them.

I have a brown, a black and a blue (3) Keyboards at home.
