I took this one a few weeks ago with my phone (!) but it turned out reasonably well. What do you think? It's currently my desktop background so I get to look at it every day
that's a great photo, just need to expose a little longer just goes to show it's more about what's in the photo, rather than what's being used to take the photo.

Love those shots CMW - One day i want to talk to you about how you achieve those awesome light painting shots of cars. I have one to add, im not tooo happy with it, but considering it was through a fence in tricky lighting I think its still quite interesting: On the prowl by bdigital101, on Flickr
Are we allowed to offer constructive advice by "modding" other peoples photo's? I am used to photography forums where this is done all the time but I don't want to offend anyone here by doing it and it's not welcomed.
Probably depends on the individual, im happy for constructive help and ive seen some people ask for it.
Thanks, glad you answered as I really liked your picture of the leopard and I know from experience how difficult it can be to get a clear shot in a zoo/enclosure and you got the head well lit and some focus on the eye which is a general rule of focus (if you believe in rules!) I crop most of my shots and often try the rule of thirds for composition which I did with your picture so after flipping it over I used the rule of thirds and placed the eye on an intersection which draws the viewers eye to it and removed a few background lines that were bit distracting, it just makes the leopard standout from the background. Love your Apline White TJ07 build, blue is my colour and it works so well with a brilliant white case

Like this shot, it's not easy getting the panning speed and shutter speed right to get the subject sharp (nice that the wheels are still spinning) and a degree of background blur that's not too over the top, I would crop the shot just above the white line so every thing below the white line is gone but cropping is always a personal thing.
I like the B&W, but agree the colour cast on the others is overdone. Also why have all those people ruined their cars by chopping the suspension so ludicrously low? They look ridiculous and they must ride like cr*p. Not to mention the damage it does to the arches! I'm pretty sure most of those are unroadworthy.
