This may sound stupid but does anyone know if the cisco netacad virtual curriculum will load on this device, it is built on flash if that is of any use
Nexus 7 does not have flash built into it at last check so I'd assume it won't load wether you can acquire flash or not for it I'm not sure.
Have it and well now first thing is to put flash on it and start playing with it. With the voucher will get poweramp installed
The new Cisco NetAcad (Netspace) website should work a lot better now, but I just had a quick look on my Nexus 7 and the courses don't launch, as they require Flash.
Updated my tablet and now its asking for a damn password that I never setup ggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm am a numpty all working now lol. Also installed Poweramp as this is my favourite music player and gives me more options. Really happy with the decision I made to get this and also downloaded aldiko book premuim as I find this the best book reader on android
You can sideload flash and it'll work with the ICS stock Browser. You may need to be rooted to get them but its pretty easy with this device anywho. Just trusted the Cisco netacad site on my tablet (rooted with flash) and it looks to load fine.
Think I'll give this a bash today. I am battling to get my swype text to work Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Just got my nexus and have my free £15 to spend was thinking of getting the bit tech app Is it worth getting?
As much as I love bit-tech, I have to say no. The landscape orientation support is temperamental, the forums often refuse to accept your login details (denying you marketplace access) and it seems to be permenantly out of date as far as articles go. The worst problem I have with it is that I can't seem to view any futher into any review or article than the first page - unless i'm being a total numpty, which is entirely possible - there's just no "next page" button in the app. I just use the web page, which works fine. Maybe try the free one and see what you think?
Also for anyone who is interested, I tried using a replacement launcher this morning; I installed Apex launcher. It looks exactly like the default launcher and is just as slick, but it supports landscape orientation for the homescreen. Works a treat, and it's free. p.s. sorry for the double post!
Did you try it on any of the Flash based courses ? The site loads fine for me, but the courses do not. I side loaded Flash and installed the Firefox browser but the flash courses do not render properly. I'm using a Nexus 7. Thanks Andre
Anyone else struggle to register there Nexus on the Asus site. I cannot seem to register it as it says the S/N is incorrect
