Its out on Xbox already. A friend of mine has started using Gaige though his Badass Rank got reset

 

Console "feature", badass stats reset bug on consoles is all over the youtube .

 

I'm waiting on it being released for PC, probably still filtering through Steam's certification system at the moment, so it could be a few hours, still.

 

Steam is downloading a Borderlands update now...

Mechromancer now available and all the Badass points transferred OK - phew!

 

Have the shift keys dried up now? I didn't get chance to activate any - doh!

 

So far the second playthrough is a lot harder...

 

I hear ya. Started out having real troubles but the loot starts to get better soon. Been using the sniper more than anything else and have started to use rpgs to get me out of FFYL. Those big metal shielded badass are a real pain.

I'm on my first playthru, level 29. (SPOILER AHEAD) Just killed Angel and i'm at the stage where I'm dying in like, 3 or 4 shots from same level bandits making it almost unplayable without dying every 2 minutes. Anyone else getting the same? My shield is about 2000 points and I'm gunzerker

 

Whilst I've passed this point in the game, can we please put it in SPOILER tags?

 

@ Slippy - You only just killed *cough* at level 29? You're way ahead of the curve, what are the level of the mobs you're fighting? Just keep moving and shooting and use your 'nades effectively but yes, alone it's pretty tough fighting same or higher level mobs once you get a few on you. Unless you shoot them in the face with a sniper repeatedly, like I prefer to do..

 

Umm I passed Angel also and playing on my own (Mr Fraggle (UK) no mates.LOL) and I agree just keep moving. Until I found a safe spot I found killing the 27 BNK 3R a bit of a pain.

Bought the DLC and trying to do all quests before moving on to that. If anyone wants to add me I play most days, unfortunately mostly during the day, a medical condition means I am sleeping early eve.

 

Okay, what's the DLC? I've seen the season pass, and the Mechromancer DLC, is there any others?

 

I don't think there is any 'proper' DLC at the moment. He must me Mechromancer.

 

Yeah that's what I meant.

 

I must admit, as much as I loved playing it, I've simply lost the want or need to play through it again. I genuinely loved it, but it is very repetitive, simply to do things like get better weapons for a game that effectively has no meaning to doing so, other than being able to play the game through again!
