I sometimes have a think about this. If I could erase one of my favourite TV shows from my memory and rewatch it from the start what would it be? Normally I settle on Stargate SG1 as it is my all time favourite SciFi series, the action, adventure, stories and characters I think are wonderful from start to finish and although rewatching is good fun I long to relive the excitement of watching a new episode. Howver, recently with Red Dwarf relaunching it has made me think how much I'd love to be able to watch the series from the beginning without knowing each episode inside out, and enjoying all the jokes as if they were new. If you could erase a TV series from your memory what would it be & why?
Stargate Atlantis. Loved every episode. Despite it being only 4 Series long i thoroughly enjoyed it. Geeks running around a strange place pushing buttons and discovery. The 2 hour episode of SG1 in the arctic fighting off an invasion was ****ing epic. Bringing the two storylines together.
Ah yes I did like Atlantis, and haven't actually ever rewatched it all the way through, just the odd episode. My only annoyance with that series is they never truly explored the city. I'm rewatching it now and my GF is watching for the first time. Obviously I remember the core story but there is a surprising amount of the smaller storylines I have forgotten about. Great TV for sure.
I'd erase Two and a Half Men from my memory, but I wouldn't watch it again. (The Shield is my actual answer)
Hard to choose... In no particular order, I'd probably like to re-watch any of without prior knowledge of them: Arrested Development Quantum Leap Band of Brothers Fawlty Towers There's probably more but I can't think of them right now.
farscape, that show was mad and brilliant. (whilst I really enjoy firefly, there's not as much of it as farscape, so it wins)
This in terms of awesomeness per eipsode. Though tbh, in terms of awesomeness in time, SG1 - I couldnt stand getting to the end of firefly again, but SG1 takes much longer
Star Trek: The Next Generation (except the first series). Love the show so much, just check the TV Tropes page for it to see how good it was
