We joined Illuminati Server last night, on their teamspeak and got some ok squad play going. Till we got ambushed and all but on killed. Got picked up and saved. Server restart early hours hoping to relog and get some good loot.
Not often you find a decent squad that isn't trying to betray you. We got lucky last night, I must admit. Ambused in Kabanino and managed to kill the first guy. After the server restart, the second one ran past me (thank you ghillie suit!) and Danny and I killed him too.
Being on their teamspeak helped, seeing as we got there as friendly players. I don't think the Drifter guys are the same breed. We where playing with admins on Illuminati anyway. I'm going to relog and see what gear I can find. Have a Guillie and some other random stuff.
Really got back into this the other day with 3 of my mates. Joined a private server that is quite busy with the same people on it. Lots of rivalry going on and people trying to kill each other but at the same time lots of good guys so I quite like it. PM if you want the server details as i think its going private soon to try and stop hackers. We have 2 separate camps with so much ammo/guns and 2 vehicles. Never ever had a car in this so its great for getting about.
I pm'd you regarding the server details, the others enjoy private hives. As long as we don't have D*** admins.
Betty suggested i stick the IP for my server up in case anyone wants it for anything. It's 87.194.152.132, port 2303. It's up pretty much 24/7. When I am downloading, it will be slow (usually very early morning). It is restarted frequently, it is not restarted regularly. It's password protected; if you hop on mumble, I or any of the guys in the DayZ channel can give you the password. It's limited to 10 players and is really only useful for practising flying/driving, wandering round the map or introducing new players to DayZ in a safe, shotgun to the head free environment. It also has battleeye disabled (hackers gonna hack) and is running on it's own little hive. I'm running it as I wanted to see what admining a DayZ server would take, and try out some mod/mission/map editing.

i logged on to modders heaven today and still had the gauss rifle that hacker gave to everyone last week.
i heard back up now, vehicles appear to have all respawned. i might change the map tomorrow to the one i've added stuff to.

Joined the server and died few times so I had fun. My mumble server got some real use too so nice. Also, any chances of getting location of a camp or two? Need a place to build myself a small stash.
Oddly enough I joined your server Will and found three cars and a Little Bird straight after spawning. I didn't fly because I would probably crash. Now stuck at NWAF with a broken leg. I aim to either die or get saved. Dying will be easier. Only want to be saved as I have gps lol
