I bought board once on ebay, I am pretty sure came from a mechanics as it was caked with grime and grease and the most disgusting thing ever. I had to soak it in floor cleaner several times to remove all of it. But the upside is all the filth protected the texture of the keycaps. It looked almost like brand new once I had it cleaned.

Why in the world would I donate a unique model of 1800? I don't even think I would consider selling it right now. Especially since it belongs with its machine.

Just ordered my first mechanical keyboard. Went for the Filco with Brown Switches based off the good reviews on here. :)

Might have a cougar attack with blues coming my way in the next few weeks....

I just love how many keys it has - and I have been wanting after a board with blues, and it's relatively cheap. And I got 2 sets of thick imsto blanks to cover it with, I'm quite looking forward to how I think it's going to end up looking. Pics in a few weeks.

Wow - that's huge! You'd need two sets of keys for that!

Gahahahah I made the mistake of typing "cougar attack" into google images without putting in "keyboard" seems obvious now, though I may never look at a keyboard in quite the same way ever again.

Honestly I'm not really familiar with those things. From what I have seen keycap is all flat, same on every row and close to height of Cherry home row. The top half come off like a relegendable.

You might be able to tell more with a better picture...

I wonder if it started life as one of these:

    (Linky)

Just because that doesn't actually have 128 keys (the ebay one - the one in my link does as 16 × 8 = 128)

Edit: Obviously not exactly though as that doesn't have the card reader...

If nothing else for that price it would be ok for harvest switch if you feel it sucks.

128 MX Blacks for £25... Not a terrible deal (if you like MX Blacks that is...)

Even if you don't like blacks sell the switch for 30p each.

Yes it is. I buy 'junk' MX board and do just that many times. Still giving people a bargain at that price over new switch and desolder switch is not hard or very time consuming if you have nice desolder iron.
