Wish I were, the Viper looks like an epic unit to mess round with.

Its tempting to order Hots but its just the cost from blizzard- £30 for a expansion, should be more like £15-20.

What race are you playing as? i used to play toss though more into mods for sc2 and 2v2/4v4 etc.

I'll end up picking up the latter two expansions when they are both out and super cheap, just to finish the story.

Proably going to be another 2+ years till the next expansion is released, been about 2 years till sc2 finally dropped in price- blizzard like to keep the price high.

I'm in no rush with it :D

I don't like the multiplayer at all. If you make one mistake, you're dead.

I much prefer Supreme Commander for my RTS fix, where you can still salvage a game even from the brink of annihilation.

The story in SC2 has been enjoyable so far and I liked the way you progress with the selection of units.

Yeah, the story is great and is pulls you along by introducing new units and a small degree is storyline choice.

Only at the top level of multiplayer do you get punished for making a mistake, what enoys me the most is that hots is mostly a single player expansion with a few more units in multiplayer yet it costs the same price a new game- with not much new content.

A few new units....these units completely change the multiplayer side of things.

Yes its expensive, the story and the amount of hours ill put into it make it worth it tho.

SupCom was brilliant bk in the day.

And small mistakes can kill you, but when evenly matched they will make mistakes to. Plus if the mistake isnt losing your entire army or economy, then you can work your way back from that.

That trailer is over a year old and quite a few of the multiplayer units have been changed/dropped from the game.

I did too, so don't feel too bad.

What does annoy me a bit though is the price given that this REQUIRES Wings of Liberty. Of course the game requires it, it's a damned exapansion, but $80 bucks? Better come with a protoss hooker for that! Oh well, another neat box for my shelf and a few other bits of fun/neat/nifty stuff.

Is it sad that more and more I'm hating Blizzard, but still love their games?
