Aftermath is everything BF3 should have been

There are new 1337 camos and crossbows.

 

so if i only got Karkand expansion and i can probably buy just ONE more expansion... what would it be? Aftermath? or save it and wait for the one coming in March?

 

Aftermath for sure.

Maybe even aftermath over B2K..

I've been playing Karkand pretty much exclusively since I bought it, got close quarters as well but it turns out Sharqi and Karkand etc are close enough when you get into the towns...

 

I love AM is all..

My choice of the DLC's would be:

AM > B2K > AK > CQ

Suppression, got really bad, and no one liked it. So now it's been taken down a bit, but still a minor/major problem for some.

New weapons, AUG A3, ACW-R, M417 and MP5K are good additions to the gear locker. The other ones are pretty much alternatives to your existing kit.

The idea going around is that BF3 + DLC, is an experiment for BF4.

so basically if i got Karkand, basically i dont need to buy anything else for now. they got AM for $10...

so is Suppression the new INVR issue allover again? that was the big hoo-ha last time i played.

 

Only had a couple of rounds on CQ, not really for me, seems much like a CoD spray and pray DLC (although I've not found many CQ servers and they were Conquest Domination so were over pretty quickly, I can't really judge them completely on that).

Had some fun rounds on AK though, been bezzing around on a quad bike getting to know the maps jumping off from time to time to take helis out with stingers.

Oh I also started trying out support with the L86A2 with rifle scope and bipod to take out some snipers as well last night, AK maps seem good for that. Should be even better when I get that heavy barrel. Taking out snipers and C4 in my pack, feels good to me

I'd have to agree AM>B2K as well though. The maps just seem better thought out while also being good to look at.

Don't forget 'End Game' and the dirt bike goodness is out soon.

I just came online last night to hand out abuse to everyone on Mumble.

They were being too kind to each other, so I thought I would install some negativity in there...

 

I think EA are moving to the same 'not quite a subscription' model as Call of Duty. Sell you a game, then charge you ten-fifteen quid every few months to keep playing. Of course you don't have to buy it as such, unless you like being ranked/not being destroyed by enemies with superior equipment.

Although the expansions for BF3 have been much better than CoD's four maps and out rubbish.

 

I didn't mind the Premium thing though, I think its been quite a good idea, and seems to have been taken up really quite well.

 

You are right. Premium was a good deal, they should have had it available from the beginning.

Why is it that whenever there is an update I start getting disconnects and end up being about half a second slower even with network smoothing turned off?

 

Maybe I'm just overstating it, but at it's most obtrusive it was certainly was though.
