Ok, so here is another update! I finally found some time to work on her again!

One issue I had is that behind the ssd tray I calculated I needed 3 mm for the sata cables to route through.
What I didnt do is calculate the bend of the connector itself so fixing the ssd directly to the alu was not an option as their would not be enough room for the connector
    [IMG]

Took me a couple of days to find a suitable solution.

Kinda looks ok, does change the whole ssd lightplan though.

Added the alu plate o cover up the mobo tray and the plexi rim to keep in line with the rest of the case

Getting to a point where I can see a first boot! The doors will come later, first get this baby running !

Hope to have more soon !

    Brilliant as usual!
Did you decide to keep both alu tubing on the graphics (Power & Sli Bridge)? I like it like that kinda looks "in & out"... :thumb:

    Lol, thanks man !

Thanks! I have returned with fresh energy and new idea's !

    Thank you !
Yeah that is still going to be integrated. The in and out effect will also be amplified by the alu/black/alu loom on the ATX cable. Just to keep it all inline with the design.

For those SSD power-cables... If you make custom cables with the angle facing towards the case - i.e. the way the SATA-connectors are - then you could mount them directly to the aluminum.

Thanks! Yeah unfortunately its chinese newyear I believe so my source is on holiday until the 14th but I will order a couple more this time. had a lot of requests if people could buy one.

    Thanks man !

Hahaha, I think I would trade this build for seven of nine, can always build a new one lol

Good idea! I had ordered some stuff from highflow but I found out its not the pwr cable , its the sata connector. Never done a sata connector before, so this was the best option.
It also solves a minor annoyance for me. I actually didnt like the lighting from one side, with this setup I can drill a couple of holes in the plexi under teh ssd and add some leds making the ssd the lightsource and radiate evenly to all sides. Think this will look better.
