Slow news day? Although I'm sure BT was paid to put that there. I don't blame you, though.

I'm sick of competitions reliant upon using a particular company's software. I don't do FB.

I'm not giving free advertisment for that miniscule chance for winning something big. I'd much rather would click "like" when they would be giving away 50 gaming mouses or so. Not as big payoff, but much higher chance of getting one. And much more people saying to other people that then won something from that company...

Yep I hate all this Facebook, Twitter and Youtube stuff for comps.

All I ever see from people/companies who are running comp's now is "Like us on FB, Follow us on Twitter and subscribe, comment and like our Youtube Video"

I have a Facebook account for stuff, not for personal use but for like when Metro 2033 was being given away but I don't use it for entering comp's because it's just pointless especially given I never win comp's anyway when I do enter them.

Anyway if someone on this site enters then good luck.

Why can't they just send out an email to people who are subscribed or read ASUS 's webpage reguarly...

Everything has to be facebook facebook facebook.

    I know what you mean.

Gone are the good old days of people actually asking you a moderately difficult question, in order to get a prize.

It just makes me feel like a cheap ho when I get Twitter requests that say 'follow us and retweet this for an almost non existent chance of winning anything!'

So, just sign up for the compos and never log in again.

God, people giving you the opportunity to win a prize and people moan about it - is it only sunny in London today?

Though, what I would complain about is that in the pic which says 'all this could be yours' it shows TWO 660's in SLI rather than the ONE stated in the specs...... so, which is it?

I'd happily sign up to an asus or pcspecialist newsletter, not sure why it's a moan if a don't want to give my details to a 3rd party company in whom i have no interest.

That's just the logic behind my 'moan'.

Good point, meant to change that after finding out they don't actually have a picture of the system. That's the right case but otherwise not the system you'll be getting.

Not moaning about the competition but it seems my logic is not followed by fb users.

Oh well, good luck to those who enter - it is a cracking prize.

I set the share BS to be visible only to me. Counts as a share and no-one else but me see it.

The marketing people at my old job got bonuses based on how many likes etc. they got on various social networking sites per month.
I never did see any breakdown on how much money each FB 'friend' made the company. Probably because it was zero.
