been getting around 50-60 fps, perfectly playable on mostly very high settings. All textures and effects where maxed but no AA at all. shadows where on high and post was on medium. 1920x1200 I guess they really nailed the game engine on my 660ti The SP is funking fantastic! well done Crytek!
Had an issue with the second mission. No ammo with a weapon that I needed. Reloaded save reinstalled still nothing. Ended up being a trainer for ammo just for that little bit. Annoyed to say the least.
I borrowed a local friends origin account to just smash though the game once (im going to buy a copy as soon as i get paid don't worry internet white nights!), but the no ammo on the Bolt sniper is so i hear a anti piracy thing, and the last boss having god mode. If your going to pirate the game you should expect things like that.
*shrugs* I already plan on buying the game at the end of the month, broke till then. Thought I would give it a blast before spending any money. I do this with most games anyway. As I am not planning on playing the MP much if it at all.
dont bother me rocks, im not white knighting here. just saying thats why you have them problems. I'm just as bad by using a friends account to play SP... but have every intention in buying a copy for MP next week
No worries Otis, some people never buy games and only pirate. If there is no demo and I see some kind of replayability then I buy a game I have downloaded.
Probably a stupid question, but is there any way I can legally download the Crysis 3 DVD ISO for use with a purchased key? My home internet is unbearably crap and it's be nice if I could acquire it legally without having to wait a week for it to download...
I've tried playing in 3D but for some reason i can't get on with it yet, it might be that the start is a little dark, maybe i should persist and see if outside looks better. I've started again on "2d".
I can only play it at low settings on my current gfx card, but it actually looks really good even at these settings, allows me 25-30fps, so playable but not brilliant. I think its going to be good for a second play when i get a decent card again.
Its a GT640, sorry should of said. I blew up my gtx 580 (not for fun) An excuse to get a Titan eventually
How is everyone getting on with the MP? I haven't been able to play as much as I have wanted to but have hit level 46 - got next weekend to myself so expecting to have to reboot suit for first time. Anyone know what you loose/gain when rebooting? Hopefully have another 7850 by the weekend for some crossfire cheesecake
I'm having quite a bit of fun with the mp, I'm about the same level as you. All I know for sure you get when rebooting are dogtags and weapon skins.
Ar har! Someone is still playing. I was worried everyone had stopped Some reports on the forums suggest that player number have dropped dramatically online. I must omit I have noticed some of the same player names around and that not something I am used to with MP games such as BF3 where there are such a wealth of servers available. Weapon skins, I wondered how we got them. Dog tags, well they are no use untill the fix for dog tags going missing after loggin in/ out Feel free to add me on origin if you fancy playing together sometime. Does anyone else feel they're only enjoying the SP because of how good it looks? I've only truly had fun in one or two places when there were a fair few ceth around. Watching them splat everywhere is pretty satisfying lol.
Yep. It sure is purdy, but the gameplay is just not a patch on the original game. I'd have been happier if they'd just remade that in Cryengine 3 in all honesty.
