Need some advice please. Just bought a second hand windows 7 pro retai but im not planning on using it untill about june or july, am i right in thinking that i will have to activate by phone when installing
Retail? Doubt it very much. Retail you can put on as many pcs as you like so long as its uninstalled from the previous pcs. Even if you do it'll probabky be automated, i once had to do it for xp - rang up, entered the details and it was activated.
I do that all the time if it's retail or even a upgrade you may have to phone the free phone number and do it that way but I've never not been able to activate
Depends on how many PCs it's been used on before, phone activation is automated and easy so no worries there.
