I'm not really a Photographer but I do like to take pictures I just wanted to see what you guys thought of this picture I took of a sunrise in Iraq. I love the way the colors of the sky were captured. Any critiques or tips for shooting pictures would be appreciated though. I want to get better at taking pictures. If you guys like I can dig through some of my back ups and find a few more to post.

So here you're hanging out... BAM nice sky.
Grab your camera, take a photo like you did, which is nice, but nothing special.
It's just a capture of the moment.
Now go take 10 more pictures.

    1) try to take it from an angle not where your head is so it looks unique, like get up high, or get down by the ground and shoot up.

    2) the sky is awesome but it's not interesting subject in itself, so see if you can find an object/person or something to put into a frame of your photo. It could be a car, a tree, a house or if you lay down it could be just grass sticking up into your frame and photo and complimenting the sky.

^This mostly, it's free to make mistakes when taking photos (for personal use :p) so go wild!

That's how I'm on DSC_1300 and something from DSC_0001 in 10 days :hehe:

Over the past few days, in between rain - damn I wanna go out and shoot more :waah:
