There went my dreams of translucent fabric, although I do note that fabric dynamics seem to have improved markedly at least in single player. I also noted that the bird's wings weren't translucent anymore in the demo video ^^. Other than that, this pretty much looks like bf3 with a re-vamped engine. Destruction looks pretty awesome too, but I'm not trusting it completely till I see someone go and c4 a building to the ground manually.

 

Typical nonsensical CoD style SP. Why did the heli insist on evac on the dilapidated, blown out building? Why not just land at any of the dozen or so opportunities they had prior? Why did the guy at the end of the video say "We lost Dunn for something we already knew?" What about the people on the Heli. Do they not count!?

Leaning out the car door to blow up an attack chopper with a grenade launcher?

Don't get me wrong, the game looks outstanding, but the SP will get about as much attention out of me as the last one (none). The faces looks amazing and the lighting looks as good as ever. I just hope Dice has learned their lesson and they don't overkill every MP map with massive amounts of lens flare and sun glare.

My biggest concern is how they balance the MP gameplay.

Previews going up state that Dice wants to create an open ended SP campaign where you have the option of advancing in any way, with any tools, that you want.

Which makes me wonder why they showed something that was very obviously a heavily scripted, typical COD style modern military shooter level. They didn't really blow me away at all with the presentation (same exact character models for the RU soldiers as BF3 for example, and same knife animation), and I'm sorry, but there's no way the SP story is going to be in any way good.

Just care about MP.

Sorry mate, should have clarified. Nope, happy as I'm just a Premium owner, I've not pre-ordered MoH.

Thought I'd check as there have been rumours of Premium users getting the beta and there's been the BF4 details/video thing-a-me-bob released.

 

You see I was really excited for the Battlefield 3 build up before Release, it had me pumped and jumping out my skin waiting for midnight launch but when I was watching that video today I was thinking "Meh" more of the same but I'll keep tabs on it simply because I do love the Battlefield series and I owe it a try at least.

 

Great news! So everyone with premium gets the beta! Can't wait.

 

Apparently only if you bought Premium through Origin it would seem.

I've got Premium, but not from Origin, and there's nothing in my account.

 

I bought it through Indian origin.... wonder if its on mine.

 

If its through Origin then surely you will get it. India or not, you should be entitled to the beta.
