Just got a highly satisfying rampage as Meepo - at least some micro skillz involved rather than net and megapoofs! Not sure if you're allowed to post YouTube links but here it is anyway:
Lol, for a while Icefrog made the map so that Meepo used to be called Meepwn, as a nod to the popular Dota-League player back in the Dota 1 days!
Nice Meepo rampage there! My only rampage to date has been with Warlock; having babysat and gotten zero last hits, i dropped the golum and fatal bonds into a team fight and nabbed every kill with immolation and flaming fists. Oops.
Cheers Warlock is so good though, that Golem with fatal bonds just destroys teamfights. If you math up the extra bond damage it comes to like thousands split over everyone caught.
I'll add you later, I've got 3 available --------------------- Should we create a Dota Trade thread so we can swap duplicate items?
Don't forget to sign up to the Steam Bit-tech Dota group...We haven't actually done anything yet, but that's for a lack of players. However, with a few more on board we should reach that tipping point where we have enough for a team online I have 7 Dota keys if anyone needs them. Steam name is the same as here. Also...While quite long, this is hilarious. (Listen to it while tidying your room or something)
Never paid to watch them through the game client, but know quite a few people who went to the International 2. From what they've said I'll definitely be buying a ticket to the next one which they'll likely be announcing in the coming couple months.
Has Dota 2 stopped updating 5 times a day or is it still a update machine. Uninstalled this and went back to LoL just for less updates to download.
Was thinking that myself. But I would say that there are more updates than that. Loads of workshop ones everytime I sign in. But its not like they are huge though. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
When they're really busy with the workshop it's gotten to be seemingly one a day, but given the tiny size and online nature of the game it's never been an issue. Nearly all have been automatically downloaded between when I launch Steam and actually want to play. Biggest hassle is when one's pushed as you're playing a game and have to quit the client, download the ~50MB patch, and restart. Even then still trivial, particularly considering it's an unfinished game.
