130k? what's in it?

mine's only managing 11k because the GPU client doesn't like my 570... down 30k-ish ppd

 

may have got the GPU client to play ball but temps are a little high and causes my pc to chug...

idle folding only for the gpu i think...

 

Phenom II X6 1100T, GTX 570, 2x GTX 580, GTX 590 (all at stock clocks)

 

you had any problems with core 15 on you machine? certain WUs on that core cause my pc to restart... core 17 is fine though...

 

Day 3's standings will be a little late... there appears to be something up with the stats [they've not updated for a few hours]... our 4th place is still pretty solid atm, but those behind are closer to catching us than we are to catching the top 3

No problems with Core 15 as far as I can see. I havn't noticed any Core 17 WUs, are you running -advmethods or whatever it's called in v.7 ?

 

core 17 are the ones with the QRB, and yes i do run the 7.x equivalent of advmethods... but i have issues with core 15 even without that set

 

Is the GPU overclocked? If it is, it may just need a little more voltage.

 

it's factory overclocked... but it does it at stock speeds... overclock was my first thought too... it'll do it's typical ~50% 'startup' bit then spike to 100% usage for a few seconds then the PC will power off as if i'd yanked the power cable, couple seconds later pc turns back on....

only does it with certain WUs [EDIT: 807x WUs mainly] on core 15...

hit it lucky with GPU WUs today... pc is currently churning out ~46k ppd

the electricity bill isn't making me popular though...
