Royal Mail Fail arriving without my parcel AGAIN! As always, the Recorded tracking info (not really tracking, I know) states the item was posted and is being 'progressed through their network for delivery'. Great.

Got a letter saying i was caught by a manned camara, think it's just a £60 fine and 3 points.

 

Whoops. Never mind - could be a whole lot worse...

 

Stuck in a dead end job, with no future prospects with this company, pay is abysmal (barely keeping solvent atm, even after trying to sort out my finances).

Trying to look for a new job, but I don't know what I want to do, or have the qualifications that a lot of people are asking for.

That or the few places I really want to work at are not recruiting (Fire/Police) or cutting down on recruiting and increasing the entry requirements (Armed Forces) (Biggest problem for me with the AF is motivation in keeping/getting fit, otherwise when I applied a few years back they really wanted me).

 

Best advice i can give.... "Just Do It"

Need to get fit? Just Do It. Need a new Job... Just do it.

Even if you think you don't have the qualifications for a perticular job, apply anyway and suggest reasons why you are suitable for the job. I know a lot of agencies put high qualifications for the jobs they advertise just to weed out the rif-raf and scare people off. Be confident and you can change the things you currently despise.

First it was gout, then a possible sprained foot, and now me ankle is so swollen and painful I'm bordering on just hacking the ****ing thing off!

 

If you can replace it with some kind of cool mechanical foot, I wouldn't hesitate to get the tools out.

 

Over here that would be a $400 fine and 3 points haha, plus possible license loss. Lucky you is all I can say.

 

I found out recently that when i was 12 after breaking my ankle, i should've had physiotherapy. The fact i never did coupled with my collapsed arches means i have to have foot surgery because my bad arches is making the ankle worse.

 

I'm working nights the next 3 days, so I ask CarTakeBack.com to pick up my old car today, so I wouldn't be overly tired, and would only be up for a few hours and could then go back to sleep.

The pick up was meant to be between 0800 and 1200. I phoned up at 1210, and was told that the driver should have phoned if there were any delays. Still no call back from them or the driver, I want to go back to bed so I'm not falling asleep at work, but no.

On the basis that time keeping isn't a major thing any more, I'm meant to start work at 2200, I'll be there at 2300. Because, ya'know, it isn't important. Apparently.

 

Got back from hospital this morning, ankle sprain. This ****ing sucks
