Just sold my GTX 670 for £220; in the nick of time it seems.

The more popular brands (with 3 year warranties) have only dropped £15-£20. To be fair, a price drop on the 670s is long overdue - I commented, only last week, that my EVGA 670 had dropped a massive £5 in price since I bought it; in August!

GTX 770 reviews are out , and as guessed - its coming in cheaper than the gtx 680 by at least £40 , and its basically a superclocked GTX 680....so some higherclocked 680`s will be faster.

7970 seems to beat it at 25x16 res though consistantly , likely memory bandwidth on that 256bit bus

That is the killer with them, 2GB and 256 bit bus. 7970 is still a cracking card

ocuk have the gtx 680 and gtx 770 at the same money

    no brainer then

most reviews have the gtx 770 as a tie for the 22 month old 7970@GE speed.

Maybe the reviews for the 770 is the reason I've seen the 680 classified 4gb lose £60 on scan since the weekend.

That is ridiculously cheap. Anyone who's bought a 670 or 680 in the last couple of weeks is gonna be pretty sore right now.

So basically, if you are on anything slower than a 660 or a 7870 this might be a good boost, but anything higher than that and you can overclock to match it.

If I was still on a 560Ti this would be my new card.

Unless they got it second hand for a steal - I've noticed they have been pretty tough to shift for the past few weeks. £200 is still a great price for a 670.

The 680 was always too expensive.

no reason for AMD to drop prices though.

and if your on a 7870 then get another one for CF and far more speed.

with the all BS about the titan and titan LE cards - the 770 has come in right where the 670/570 and 470 launched at

Oh yeh i meant anyone who's bought one new. second hand 680 prices should fall and could be somewhat of a bargain.

Strangely though the only one i've seen with a titan cooler, an inno 3d one on ocuk that's on pre order. all the rest are custom coolers.

The Nvidia cards had been overpriced for their performance for some time. The price drop just puts them in line with AMD.

    I'm not fussed. My GTX670 4GB SC was £225 new.

Anandtechs review says it all. Rest of the year will be prices and bundles in the $400 range with nvidias big 3 and AMDs 7990 there for those that want the best. ( 780 titan for single gpu, 690 7990 for duel gpu single card)
