Good idea! I'm pretty excited, will be awesome to see all the big reveals, should be the best E3 for years.
Yep, cause honestly it's the only game I'm actually looking forward that coming out in the next 12 months. Not to say I wouldn't play the others , just feel generally 'meh' about them. Another COD? Another Battlefield? DLC for Diablo 3? Another NFS? Another GTA? From what I've seen Watch Dogs is at least trying something new, even though it's essentially GTA meets Deus Ex from what admitted little I've seen of the game. /2cents
I tend to agree, apart from the GTA bit! I am super, super excited about that one - they never seem like sequels to me, but whole new games. However, I take your point! I am hoping that Watch Dogs is as innovative as they have made out (I am trying not to believe the hype too much). As well as this, I am intrigued as to what Nintendo might offer. Is my WiiU destined to play Lego City Undercover with my kids for the rest of its life or will I be able to play something on it? Not bothered about MS and Sony - to be honest I am completely underwhelmed with the whole PS4 and XBO thing. They have both convinced me that I don't need any of their machines after all!
I have a sneaky suspicion that Watch Dogs will be a pretty run of the mill adventure game when alls said and done. They've alluded to a lot, but I just don't believe Ubisoft have the guts to design a game with much originality and scope.
Gotta agree on the ubisoft sentiments they have a shocking track record. Not really sure I am waiting to see the next Fifa, Battlefield, Halo, Cod or any other series games. Want to see some orginality and new game styles. As at the moment the lack of orginal games is killing the gaming market.
GTA V is in that list for me because I got burned by IV when it came out. disappointed completely by that one. So I will wait and see. Firstly: Assassin's Creed, when it came out was very original. Yes, Ubi then proceeded to beat it to death, but still - they can get it right once in a while, and when they do, it's EPIC! having said that, a small part of me died when I read your post, as it will more likely than not be true

Except for the PC, where we have some cutting edge and ground breaking tech (Oculus Rift) and visionary games on their way. I looked at a leaked release list for the PS4 and Xbone, not a single game that excites me even 50% as much as Star Citizen or Planetary Annihilation do.
So first news, Metal Gear Solid is now open world, and looks pretty pretty! And also like Red Dead Redemption crossed with Arma
Its like 25% Realtime and 75% QT event. I like the concept but QT combat is just dance dance revolution with more blood.
Crytek says they wanted to make the game for a long time and now they can thanks to the power of the xbox one.... They should've made it years ago on PC then.
