There were leftovers at techkeys at a higher price & even they sold out within no time at all! I'm still finding the profile a little odd but quite satisfying overall - it'd be interesting to compare how they feel on different switch types - they're nice on browns and actually help you to feel the tactile bump a little better (imo) than cherry profile keys... Can't be a***d to switch stuff around now but I imagine they wouldn't be great on heavy switches like clears...

If I ever see some going anywhere I'll let you know!

    Edit:

    Have a retro numberpad piccy

I have an ISO board. It's fine I don't mind it at all :)

I maybe prefer it for work because of where the \ key is, and I have to use that alot at work.

    ANSI... ISO...

They both feature the same actual keys, which in my experience is enough to type words. My advice would be that if you aren't interested in swapping keycaps around (hello) then plump for whichever you're used to. If you are, then you'll need to become familiar with ANSI if you've not used it before.

    Nice eh?

Did you get these in the end? Just about to chuck receipts and delete my hundreds of PMs about these but don't want to until I'm sure everyone got everything...

Edit: Also, fuus - have you received yours? Haven't heard anything... (or more importantly seen pics!)

not yet, haven't had a chance to go back to the depot yet, and no card has come in the post. I won't make it tonight, might do tomorrow after work, we shall see.

Network cabling getting done tonight and my stuff being moved over tomorrow, so a bit of a hectic week.

Fair enough - I'll hang on to your receipt until you're sorted. According to the tracking it's at the "Enquiry Office" and has been since Friday / Saturday. I'm not sure how long they keep stuff for... Anyway - let me know :thumb:

In the next couple of weeks - I will be building an exceptionally expensive lovely keyboard :D

it's just a shame it isn't mine and I will have to give it back once it's completed, but i'm still pretty excited for the building times!

¬ can't to do that on ansi (i think?) without alt codes.

White (or beige whatever it's called) Filco keyboards owners.

How white is it? Is it white-white or like off-white? Most of the photos on google look like off-white or bright beige. Is that how it looks like in real?

George, on your photo it looks white-white. Is it very white or more creamy/beige?

Like on first photo here is pretty much beige, when second one is showing white.

It's just my phone photo making it look white due to the light - I would definitely call it beige. The top photo of your two is actually also of my Filco... Just looked back through that thread (ah good times) and never realised that you were asking questions! Hopefully now you realise what the fuss is about eh?

For comparison I've taken this photo (again with my phone but it's good enough) of a white keycap against the body of the board

    Hope that helps!
