You need to use the no parse tags!

No worries :)

The no parse tags allow you to quote a post without it displaying images or videos i.e.

The tags look like this: put the body of text here

No need to apologise! Everyone is new at some point, the tags just help keep the thread clean otherwise you get 5 people all quoting the same images!

Or even better, when you quote a post full of images, just replace all of the text with something short and relevant like this:

Hi,

what are the (semi-)low profile options on the market ?

The only one i could find so far in Europe is Cherry MX-Board 3.0 G80-3850, but that is next to impossible to get shipped to Slovakia (the only one i could find both in stock and shipping is CCL Online, but they ask £68.63 for the keyboard and probably £20 for shipping :wallbash:. Amazon UK has it out of stock, and i am not settling for german version.

I used a G84-something quite recently and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it felt to type on.

Aye, ML has a very mixed reputation. Some people swear by them, some people despise them! :)

Yeah the one I used had a trackpad on it, but I was expecting the MLs to feel terrible and whilst they are not up to MX standard, for short throw switches they weren't bad. Preferable to scissors.

faugusztin, perhaps PCHome for the G80-3850? They also have choices of switches unlike most other places and are probably cheaper, though you may get slapped with import charges...

I still love how the switch types translate into English - particularly 'tea axis' as it makes me think of an axis of evil hell-bent on world tea domination :D

PCHome :
Keyboard without VAT - $101.39
Europe - shipping $ 20
Total : $121.39
Total (EUR): €91.97
Total with 20% VAT : €110.364

CCL Online :
Keyboard with VAT : £68.63
Slovakia - shipping : £20.00
Total : £88.63
Total (EUR) : €103.73

No point in ordering from outside EU in this case, as it is more expensive than CCL.
