Nikon D5100 for shooting HD video. I've already got all the lenses, so while the canon dslr's (60D) has more manual control for audio and video recording, for £340, you can't really beat the quality of the recording for the money.

I've got one of those - it's a godsend for things like chicken nuggets and fries. But I do find I have to keep the nuggets small/thin or they don't cook all the way through.

I had a little tasting bottle of their Nectar D'Or and that stuff is pretty decent as well.

I bought all her Serrano series a couple months ago and really enjoyed them(I never could find most of the series in my local library when I was younger and forgot about her). This series seems to be great as well from what I've read.
I bought them all for kindle since I'm going to be away in HK this summer with little to do.

I like buying books in person, but with amazon so much cheaper and convenient, it's rare that I actually make a purchase in a brick and mortar store.

Certainly looks healthier than the deep fryer I have. The relatively small basket size should help with portioning as well.

    Very fancy. :)

Kindled my interest. What's truly demotivating is the fact that Amazon is asking more than 50% price premium for the Kindle edition over the mmpb printed on a dead tree. For ****s sake, it's immaterial, as in no attached material costs whatsoever version of the same ****ed-up book, how can you justify asking more goddamned money for it?!

On paper, I've done a bit of a downgrade from an Audiolab M-DAC...

But it sounds just as good, maybe even better? I've not done a side by side, but it sounds great nonetheless. I've done a side-by-side with a Beresford 7510 over optical and it's definitely better than that.

The major bonus and reason for the change is that its miles tidier, as I got to the point of only using the USB input with the M-DAC anyway. The only drawback is I'm losing out on the balanced outputs, but I've got a very short run to my amp anyway, and there's £300 in my pocket after the change, so I can live with it.

And because my recent AV amp upgrade brought with it a distinct remote control downgrade...

My Sony RX100 takes better, more professional looking HD video than my D600. The shallower DOF and ability to use different lenses is nice, but DSLR video doesn't really seem worth the effort since so many smaller, cheaper cameras do the job better.

Too bad over time software gets worse and worse, hopefully it will get better now after Logitech decided to stay in the remote business. For now Logitech is similar to Symantec - it is where some stuff goes to die (both Squeezebox and Harmony got worse with Logitech).

Ah. We were driving past and one of the gamers came out. From what I could see, the back of his shirt said "MrDom" and I was like "OOH! I know him!". :D
