No, you're just blind. The website has been totally and utterly overhauled. Looks nothing the same, and the store/pledge side of things is much easier to manage.

 

My head only wanted to see demo build....

New website is amazing! So much cool new info, can't believe those Idris class corvette sold out so quickly. Amazing. Heading towards the $12m mark at a pace now. This is one of those things that restores faith in humanity.

 

I have an RSI-Constellation and in it's write up it says '...capable of launching a snub fighter...'. Now, does this mean it comes with a defence fighter, or would I need to buy one? If the latter, what of the available ships class as a 'snub fighter'?

I am thinking of renting one from Cei - apparently he does great deals if you take them for a week and use his deposit insurance scheme...

 

I really want a corvette or a destroyer, but $1,250 is silly money. Looks like I'll have to get one in-game...

Jedra, the Constellation comes with a one-man short range fighter in the docking bay as standard. No need to get another! However, I am really interested in whether the game allows rentals...

 

I think the implication was that you buy it as a clan... But it's lot of money for virtual assets none the less. Having taken so much money Chris could end up being A massive villain if he doesn't deliver on the dream he's creating. That said, from what I've seen, so far so good.

 

Thing is, the 150 Idris-P corvettes that went up sometime whilst we were sleeping went in a mere 9 minutes. That's not clans at work, but individuals.

Destroyers I can forsee being $2k each in pledges, which is bonkers. Definitely something to work together as a shared goal for in game.

 

Wow - imagine taking it for a spin after a few beers and pranging it! I think I would be too scared to drive it!

This is when I know gaming has become too much of an obsession.

I guess gaming will be potentially even more addictive if Oculus delivers.

 

2 days left to back the limited edition ships currently on the site! After this point the Origin M50, Aegis Retaliator, Drake Caterpillar, MISC Starfarer and Anvil Gladiator will not be available.

 

Now why did you have to go and say that! The devil on my shoulder is now whispering "you will never get this chance again, it's only money, you would only have spent it on something boring like your children or food or heating in the winter....."

...Or I could go for the Rear Admiral pack for original backers which has the Constellation and a load of goodies?
