Bordlerlands 2 is the only game I would like there. I wasted £23 on Bioshock when it came out. Don't like the other games either. I paid £7 for borderlands 2.

If you had not bought any of those games it would be a decent deal considering Bioshock and BL2 alone would cost more than 27, albeit only when not on sale. I got Bioshock Infinite for free from a friend and was disappointed personally. Gameplay was ok as was the story but I was expecting something amazing (Something I would remember for years to come) from the raving user and critic reviews.

Yup, If I could give my Bioshock key away I would but the damn thing is tied to steam now.

The only thing I liked about bioshock was the visuals. Detested the gameplay and detested the boss fights. Detested the dialog. It has actually made me rethink my need to play games full stop.

Bioshock Infinite really did polarise views; for me it's in my top 10 games of all time.

Need for Speed franchise, 70% off on Steam.

Is Shift 2 worth £5.99 as Grid 2 didn't really do it for me?

    Thanks

Any game is worth a punt at £6....however, personally I didn't enjoy it.

It may be better with a steering wheel, but the xbox controller just wasn't up to the finer adjustments the game demands...Couple that with a confusing interface and the fact that it only has onscreen hints for the keyboard (not the controller) and I walked away with a profound sense of meh

Not if you prefer to play race sims with a steering wheel it isn't, it would be £6 down the drain. Shift 2 had the potential to be great but I've hardly touched the game because the controls are so horrible with a steering wheel, and I'm not interested in playing racers with a keyboard or joypad.

Interesting Smiffy - I thought the opposite! Once I managed to get a control setup that worked (and that took a bit of tweaking, my pedals were very awkward) I found it to be a competent, if arcadey racing game.

Think of it as a slightly more arcade-based GT5 (in terms of the actual racing, not the scope of the championships), but with much, much better sound.

The input lag is atrocious, it feels like you're driving a car made out of jelly.

This is with Xbox but it demonstrates exactly the same problem the PC version has.

I found Shift 2 to be amazing with the wheel. Really good fun, amazing sound and awesome GT cars.

I wont lie though, it took patching up to the community patch and a good 20-30 minutes of tinkering with the advanced settings to get it feeling tight and responsive. Out of the box it wasnt good at all.

I tried with a pad and it felt like it was on ice, so i would say only if you have the patience to set it up properly!

Its easily worth the £6 imo, had many hours of challenging and rewarding racing myself, and being a motorsport fan i loved the fact they have proper GT cars with the liverys and teams etc.

Agree about shift 2. Great. Amazing sound. Fun to race.

Drifting is the one big annoyance. I could do it a bit on some of the tracks but when it came to the drift school on the docks... I couldn't do it at all.

I haven't tried any community patch? Is there a particular one that improves it?

    I use wheel and pedals.
